I like the idea of using dice to keep track of laps, but I can't handle the idea of the "6" side being used during the first lap. Looks like 10-sided dice have a zero face, which will appease my OCD.

Haha - you could use a meeple for the first lap I suppose, then introduce the die with the one pip up.

I ordered a bunch of d10's from Chessex. The "10" face just shows a zero.
