When you register an account, you are signing up as a member of a community, your community! The staff of Carcassonne Central (sometimes called Carc Central or even CC for short) are all volunteers, whose enjoyment of the Carcassonne series brings us together to share our enjoyment of the game. Your friendly admins, Gantry and Matt, are not absentee owners - we play the games, interact with the community, and share in the fun. Registering as a member is free, and it gives you access to downloads, occasional contests and access to our message boards. Register your account today! News: 18th February 2010. The 2010 mini-expansion has been revealed to be Die Kornkreise (translated as The Corncircle). There is a page about it on Hans im Glück's site together with the rules in German. This mini-expansion is currently included in the base game published by Hans im Glück.
11th February 2010. The 8th expansion for Carcassonne has been announced to be Carcassonne: Brücken, Burgen und Basare (roughly translated as Carcassonne: Bridges, Castles and Bazaars) and will be published by Hans im Glück. The expansion will come with 12 tiles, 12 city tokens and 12 bridge pieces. The expansion allows a player to do three additional actions: Bridges allow roads to be continued over a field tile Castles are placed on 2-tile cities for extra points. Bazaar introduces auctions. Edit 18th February 2010: The game expansion page in German with the rules is now available on Hans im Glück's site. 9th January 2010. There is a problem with one of the database files of the forums resulting in the forums being unaccessible. We apologize for any inconvienence caused.
