Man this thread is better than the best advertise campaign... now I want the dice game so badly!

I was in doubt whether posting today's entry of mine in this thread or in the "I hate the postman" one. Then I realized it was not the postman's fault! And here I am... I got my second tower by spielmaterial, but the product is FUBAR. It was cut badly and one side is longer than the other and so it's impossible to build it properly. I don't know if it's clear from the picture but the difference between this and the one included in the Tower expansion is huge. Sigh.

Cundco also sell the tower on its own, might be worth trying that one?

The tower sold on Spielematerial should be supplied by Cundco.de. The tower came with one foldable piece to build the body or two non-symmetrical independent pieces? It seems the latter happened.

This. But the left part is longer than the right part so it's impossible to fold it correctly.

Another box from Cundco arrived today! Here is a hint:

If you guessed maps, you are correct. Six of the seven that are distributed by HiG. Germany was not available anymore when I placed my order, so I am sourcing that from BGG Market.

I have no idea how the maps work but they look perfect for some solo games... the complete USA map is particulary endearing! Good catch, have a good time! Will you glue them on a harder cardboard?

Just arrived, together with a bunch of white tiles and other things, a set of semi-transparent meeples, to be used as phantoms!

Off-topic question. I read on the wiki: "The Phantom is the only expansion to date that is completely edition independent, in that it can be used with both First Edition and Second Edition Carcassonne". Does this means that it's better not to mix other C1 mini expansion (e.g. Plague, School, Tunnels...) in a prevalently C2 game?

There's no restrict about mixing C1 and C2/3 expansions (except those using farmhouses and/or sheds, since those are not present on C1 tiles).
WICA refers to visual incompatibility here

It just means that The Phantom can be conbined with any edition since it has no tiles. This could also happen with The Gifts now...

However, you will see that the C2 rules ignore phantoms altogether, even when CundCo has been including The Phantom sets in some Advent packs, or selling teacher meeples that can be used as phantoms. An odd choice on their part.
