The story behind them i find more interesting than the scoreboard itself, but it is a fun entry into the world of Carcassonne  ;D
Congrats on finding one, and hopefully it didn't costs you an arm and/or leg  ;)

Do you know any story connected with this counter?
Will you share it with us? Please!

A few posts up:

Well done! I dread to think what you had to do to find it.

I've always appreciated the idea behind this.  We've got a load of mis-printed score tiles.... let's get KJW to doodle on some paper-tape, stick them on the board, and sign each of them.  At least the proceeds went to a good charity.

PS: I do worry someone of low-moral fibre will use a lovely image like this and replicate it for ebay.

Are you saying that it was dealing with misprinted point counters?

And this defective print was valued with two stickers and the signature of K. J. Wrede?

Pretty much, yeah.
The scoretrack is printed in the wrong side of the cardboard, and the other side is white.
They got 2 stickers on them, had KJW sign them and gave them very simple rules. Then sell them for charity, and its become a true collectors item now, as I believe there were only 250 of them

My good friend the postman stopped by this morning, and brought me these!

My friend from the Ukraine has been great finding the Russian copy of the Discovery, and added a copy of the Ukrainian Carcassonne Junior at my request!
Very happy with these 2!

The postwoman stopped by my place today with the remaining wooden bits that I needed for Willem's prize in the Advent puzzle contest. It's another set of plague and tunnel tokens. I filmed a video for our Facebook page.

I wanted to add a copy of "The Festival 10 years", in addition of "The Festival 15 years" to my Mega Carcassonne... Cheapest way was actually to purchase this base game with the extention!

The box came in damaged due to poor packaging (all tiles were still in the package, what a relief!).

Time to play our first C1 game (if Wheel of Fortune doesn't count...), I'm sure this will please the C1 team out here :D

I realise this could be the next forum war (after the River, and the large tiles...): The Festival 10 years - The Festival 15 years: 2 names for a same expansions, or 2 expansions closely related? :D

Congratulations to this lovely acquisition! This is one of my favourite game versions, partly because tit was one of few C1 items apart from the regular boxed expansions that was published in a local version here in the Czech Republic. I am very happy to have it and treat it cautiously, as the shape of the box makes it destined for a damage even when not shipped.

Your post brought back to me again the sheer disapointment that, when coverting The Festival to C3 art, HiG for a reason that I still cannot comprehend and feel as a chance badly missed did not use the occassion to make C3 version of The Festival updated to actual 20 years. Sigh...

I totally agree with you, I bought the C3 version in Essen (I don't have the C2 version), I'd would have appreciated a 20 years watermark... And would have bought the C2 version in addition if it was the case!

Got a 1995 German Edition of “Linie 1” (“Streetcar” in US).

Like a cross of TransAmerica (all tracks are shared), Ticket to Ride (everyone has secret goal), and Carcassonne (tile placement).  Plus an exciting race after your line is completed!

Very nice! Must've been hard to find!
But do you have the Spiel 1 tile though?  ;)

I got a visit from mister postman today as I was in the office;

With this arrival, I am almost complete in my line up of C3 base games. Only 1 remaining, which is waiting for me at my parents, so I'll soon have them all together!

@supertopix  : to be honnest, 100€. This is way too much for a carton chip, but luckily I bought a cheaper pack of Spiel tiles I could sell away (and just keep those I didn't had), so I could afford this one without using too much of my personnal money :)
It was one of the last one on BGG, and I just can't find it elsewhere...
