On its own, maybe. I pay 19€ every time I shop from Cundco but my orders are 100/120€ each. Never had a problem with it.
14€ shipping on a 28€ purchase is 50% of the price of the object. For me, it's not acceptable. I'll just wait for a non German site to sell it

Well that's just the shipping price for a minimum parcel from Germany to the outside world...

It's a bit crazy but shipping from BE to NL is around 8 euro's and DE to NL is 14. (I know, I know. DE is much bigger :p)

As I said, I'm not complaining about the price itself. I periodically spend 19€ for shipment from Cundco and I never complained, because my orders were always very big.
I'm saying that paying 14€ for shipping a 28€ product is madness, and I'd rather not to do that.

Isn't the fact that one (1) tile in the whole base game box shows a garden on it, but it's not playable given the fact that the Winter Edition is designed in a pseudo C1 style therefore lacking gardens everywhere else? I'm not adding abbots to a game for just one (1) garden on the whole map. My in-universe view is that garden is yes a garden, but it's dead due to the cold, therefore no one want to go there, let alone an abbot who is very busy

You can still play abbot meeple on Winter edition. But it will be limited just for 6 monasteries.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Winter Edition doesn't come with Abbots does it? I'm certain the 1st edition doesn't, almost sure about the 2nd edition.

It feels a bit silly complaining that you can't use a feature in a game where it is not meant to be used in

It could be meant as decoration, like the animal tiles before

Guys my english is not perfect but sometimes I wonder if you even read my posts. I never complained about not being able to use abbots. I was noticing that a game version who does not include abbots include an abbott mechanic instead, something that's weird to me. It was intended as a playful remark.
