Hi guys!

So many of you already know about the irc chat that's been up for some time now and has worked as a great place for people to chat real time during game tournaments and whatnot.

Added the app info so now you can download this free app (and ad-free at that) and use it to chat if you don't want to use your browser in your phone.

There are three version for this chat, all of them leads to the same channel:

1. Standard browser irc chat page

2. The standard browser with CarcassonneCentral forum split screen (two iframes)

3. The app for your Android phone (and possible other versions)

First time setup:
1. Go to your Play Store in your phone to search and download HoloIRC.
2. Once you launch it you should be able to see 3 servers you can connect to. Choose Freenode.
3. Once connected you will have to choose a nickname. To do so: Tap top right button called Action and select Change nick.
4. Lastly, tap Action again and Join new channel and type in #cc-league and you should be able to chat like text messaging.

You can get disconnected after a few minutes if just idling, but tap Action to reconnect again. Also, the app will remember your channels, even when you close the app itself.

Is there an issue with the chatroom?
I can't enter it right now, neither with Firefox nor with Chrome.

Neither can I (with Firefox). I opened a Tower game on Online server, in case somebody wants to practice a little bit for the League.

I don't know why, but try using a different name ("Hounk1" or "TheIncredibleHounk" or "HounkHogan" or whatever) and you might be successful. Once you're connected you can just type "/nick Hounk" (without quotes) to change your name back.
