Dear all,
As commented here (https://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=4115.msg82409#msg82409), we were thinking of updating the WICA logo. Based on the same idea as Carcassonne Central, it shares the same little icon displayed on browser tabs. As a consequence, you cannot tell apart tabs with CarcC and WICA pages, which is very common in my case. ???
Snearone volunteered for the task right away (Thank you so much! ;D) and he sent us a bunch of different options. You can see a nice showcase of the ones Sinscerly and I liked best... We would like to share them with you so you can also cast you vote and help us pick one.
The new options show a dark blue background decorated the a filigree inspired by the back of the tiles and the C2 rulebooks. This dark blue background, which echoes the design of the 20th Anniversary Edition, serves as perfect contrast for a capital letter in gold or silver with a polished metallic finish adding some relief. The are two options for the letter as well: A "C" represesenting the letter on the back of the tiles or a "W" as a reference to WikiCarpedia or WICA.
The animated image below presents 5 options:
0 - Current one: no change
1 - Golden C
2 - Golden W
3 - Silver C
4 - Silver W

That could be an option... I don't know how it would look when scaled down to 16x16 pixels...

We can use the C / W for the favicon and WICA perhaps for the full logo that is on every page (back to mainpage button). Combinations are possible.

I agree with Corinthiens13 - consistent, but different. Sorry, but I don't think the "W" works.

I like the first edition C logo for this site, and the second edition golden C on blue background for the rules wiki. Silver C on blue background would be my second choice, but Gold C is winning so...

I agree with Corinthiens13 - consistent, but different. Sorry, but I don't think the "W" works.
That's my opinion as well. I started by making a gold W to make it different and familiar at the same time, Meepledrone asked me to make a standard C in the same style, the color of which I later also changed from gold to silver to make it stand out.
So silver for WICA, and gold for CarcC should fit best :D
I use tapatalk exclusively for CarcC, attached what it would look like.

I have prepared those, however in the official majuscule they do not look too good, capitalization of two letters looks better but should rather not be used ;)

Perfect for me. I think a single letter looks best ans is more eye-catching than four letters.

Well for me Golden C is very slose to Original Carcassonne 3.0 logo. But Silver C on blue background is my champion :D

Change of logo is welcome whatever wins.
