Did I see a token - same idea as Castles, but might be a Village - on one of the images on the HiG Facebook page? Or did I miss any discussions about it?

I agree with @Whaleyland and expect a complete overhaul of the rules. We might not recognise some of the expansions after reading the new rules (at least I hope so - hahaha).

Exciting times ahead. Can't wait to be in Carcassonne in September - I am sure we will see all that there.

And imagine the Advent Quizz 2025 with new rules for all expansions.....

.... a nightmare..... :

Nothing confirmed on that point.
Not sure if they'll do them all at the same time.

From what I've seen, they'll have exp 1, 2 and 3, and we'll have to find out if there's more released at the same time

I'd love to be able to GET a Winter Edition! The few places online that were selling WE C3 seem to have stopped and there was never an English version. Even the older version(s) is challenging to find now. I don't see Z-Man pulling off a WE this year. And with the news of all the expansions getting a revamp...

On top of that, I noticed a large price drop in the BB7 German edition (almost half of what I paid a few weeks ago).

I think they will release all of them at once.
Since the 7th expansion is also announced, which I assume they will also introduce. It would be stupid if they somehow divided it
Now 1 2 3 (just the boxes so far - we don't know the contents)
4 5 6 7 (7th expansion that is announced for this year)
8 9 10 (you think the last three would be torn off)

or they would somehow split it up. It's unlikely.

They will release it as a complete set. (panorama) it will be their jewel this year. Maybe some promotions. If you buy all the expansions you will get something for free or in some promotion. There are many things that can be thought of as sales marketing

Just my opinion.. that's how I would approach it maybe

My thought is more with the festival in Carcassonne in mind.
I expect that there they'll have the first 3 as a pre-release, and then maybe the full set in time for Essen

They would lose profits if they left it only to Essen (which is in Germany. France is like a small Essen for them. You have to think like a seller = money = profit

I see more a stone quarry or archeological site on the token.
But the tiles and token look like they are bigger and in stone and not cardboard and placed on the soil. The two bridges that are stacked look like to be of concrete. And why is the upper bridge not connecting the two road segments on the tile in the upper right corner of the token?
