Disclaimer first: not sure if I should post this here as I have been accruing this stuff for the last year with family in France. It involves a pile of Carcassonne getting to me so I thought it was reasonable.

I wasn't expecting to have to wait so long but this little thing called COVID got in the way. Finally got to see my family over Easter, and as a bonus I got my hands on the stash.

It was quite large, but here is a selection of the highlights:

Some of these were gained with the assistance of Carcassonne Central members; thank you once again for your kind help. This is what makes this community great to be a part of.

So over the weekend i got to play a few new games for the first time. One in particular really stood out to me, but that could be as i managed to run away with the victory  ;D

So on Sunday evening i couldn't resist, and ordered the Big Box for it!

The Quacks of Quidlinburg has been around for a while, but i never played it before. I thought it was a complicated game, and also when we were setting it up it looked intimidating, but that was more due to the amount of tokens, and the bad way it was put away by previous players.

I was a little bit reluctant in actually opening it i must admit. I've been getting quite a few sealed Carcassonne games over the last months, and don't open them, so this felt unusual hahaha
I've been hyping it up with my partner over the last few days, so tonight we'll play it and let's see how it does!

Also, today i received a nice little Carc thingy:

I've had the base game for the PC for ages, but now found out there was an expansion pack, so had to get it! I even tried it out on my old PC, which i kept only because it has a CD/DVD drive, so that came in handy.

I even had to put in the code from one of the River tiles for the copy protection!

The base game CD-rom i have is in Dutch, and these expansions are in German, but luckily the program doesn't care, so now i can join the digital age and play Carcassonne on the computer in the museum!

Edit: Postman made an extra stop!

Here's another view of our rainbow carpet!

Thanks to UncleWill, Willem, and Meepledrone for acquiring all these goodies for me. Willem was able to pass them over at the GBRBGWEGB!  Thanks a lot.  You can read about our adventure here:

I almost forgot!  These arrived today too.

I actually have a spare copy, so if someone from the UK is wanting one, send me a PM.

Very excited to be able to finally play Sokol for the Zamek (The Falcon for Carcassonne:Castle)

What are you feeding those falcons?  ;)

Will you separate that happy family?

Hey everyone, Just on this page I've seen two people who look to have received original artwork Monateries of Germany and a copy of original artwork Cathedrals in Germany. Just wondering are these expansions available somewhere or have they just been tracked down second hand?
Thanks! Had to ask! :D
