Sheep & Hill Question - the strange half tiles SchG and SchH
« on: September 15, 2014, 12:53:21 PM »
so there are some tiles which are just strange, in the rules they say its mend to be that way, but why?
just why?
its just doesnt make sense apart from the nice  looking thing.

im talking about the tiles SchG and SchH (sorry don't have img atm)

when the 2 SchH tiles are set together the rules say that this becomes 1 city.. there is just this really small part where they hit eachother..

as for the SchG tiles, it looks like the pointy end is missing..

so again..
why?

I suppose this tile is to allow you to separate 2 fields without joining the two cities that separate the fields.

I did some correction reading for the German rules.

Here is one of the pictures.

I've told the HiG team:
"Here you can practice the alphabet again"

The tiles are made to sneak in easily.

Does that count as a single city in your photo at the top? It looks pretty crazy putting the two "splitter" tiles back to back like that...

Yes, it is the 1 special circumstance that they make 1 single city..

I noticed how you have the road tile situated to the pointy city in your photo. You could house rule that you can place a road to connect to the city. That would be an interesting play as it would offer some defense against someone trying "cheaply" glom into your farm.  :(y)

I made similar tiles in the collection of the Little House at the End of the Lane tiles (see downloads). There, it is intended that roads can be placed directly to a city. The Little House is situated right against the city wall.
