It is so weird Devir adopted this format. LaplazadeCarcassonne was telling me about the struggles to change the format to 1vs1 games.
They change the final rounds into 1vs1 format. But the first phase still 4 players game... Enviado desde mi XT1700 mediante Tapatalk

I have notice that there is a seller - with UK address - selling replica tiles sets. It appears that these are 'home made' copies of normal expansions. I assume that he is buying blank cards and copying the tile sets on to these. Is the legal?
These are "non-legit" copies availlable for purchase in China. (or via aliexpress/alibaba)
Hahahaha this chinese are crazy Enviado desde mi XT1700 mediante Tapatalk

The wooden sets left (pink and brown) do not include the ringmaster. I imagine some time in the (hopefully near) future they will re-release all of the colors with the ringmaster included. They just did this with the plastic ones, so hopefully the wood ones aren't too far behind.
That's what I think. Although perhaps here in the forum there is someone who has information closer to HiG and can advance something new...

Pink and Brown are both fine colors, but that is a shame. They were low priority on my own buylist, but I never thought they would disapear
Pnk and brown are also available in cundco website but only these two colours... Hope this year come again the full set of all wooden classic colours!

For some time now, there has been a complete set of wooden meeples in pink and brown on the cundco website. Does anyone know if Cundco plans to edit in other colors again? A while ago they sold out in other colors but I think it's time to take them out again in blue, red, gray, white, natural ... etc Does anyone know news from Cundco??

Thanks for the response! Would you say it is noticeable in a stack?

I have both editions. The difference apart from the amount and type of tiles is the thickness of the tiles. The travel edition is more thicker than the für 2. But the rest of the measures are identical.

it's not "gingerbread man" but "snowman" a little white snowman with a black hat, a carrot instead of a nose and three black buttons on his stomach he appears on many tiles
Sounds a fan expansion.... Right? I didn't see before... Enviado desde mi XT1700 mediante Tapatalk

There are many opinions on how to start collecting something. There are people who collect everything edited even with different boxes even if it is the same. In the case of Carcassonne there is the old and the new edition. Personally I started to collect it when it came out about the year 2000. I have a special affection for that edition. For me it was a surprise that the edition was changed although it was not closed to that possibility. In my case it was disappointing to see the new design. Very artificial especially the colors that make it look like a prototype of a game. Due to this opinion I refused to continue collecting the same but with the new edition. That implied that the different new expansions would not buy them either. What do I mean with all this? Well, what collections do you like? Do not do it compulsively. If you like one edition more than another, collect that edition. If you like both equally then I would tell you to collect everything. The problem with the old one is the price with what expansions, but if you like it, I think it's worth it. If you like more the new one you have it better since the prices are more reasonable (except for the spiel tiles that is something out of orbit).

Hope all is well?
Whats the result of the game?
Hi Bekse! I'm Leumas! Nice to see you here... I haven't participated in a tournament yet here... Do you know how it works or what I have to do? Let's see if we play a game and train some day!
Hi Dr meeple
Welcome to the forums. The best people to speak to are Danisthirty and thesteveallen as they are the main people for tournament organising. I am not sure if it will be possible to get in on either of the current tournaments mid way but ask them!

I have today picked up a pristine condition of the original art base game, including the river, with the 50 point score board. Made by Rio Grande Games.
Please PM me if you would like to replace your own worn out base game.
It hurts... wait.. RGG.... it's ok (just kidding ) HiG is sacred (joking)
