Well done.  I'm a different sort of completionist I guess.  I don't need all the stuff that is copied, like three different forms of Cults, etc.  The few things I need at this point are Crop Circles 1, Darmstadt (sp?) and the Russian tiles (are those in the old artwork or new?), and Labyrinths, there is one in each style, right?  I don't have Cathers, but I don't think I need it with Siege.  I don't have any new art and don't plan on getting any.

Well im kind of the same as you are.. I already got it complete.. But I consider all the russian stuff different as some kind of 2.0 edition or winter edition..

Rough translation of the German rules from Fritz_Spinne at CarcF:

When a street or the city is completed, which includes a Watchtower with a Follower on it, the Watchtower scores first and then the completed city or road scores as normal.

The Watchtower scores for the Watchtower tile and the surrounding 8 tiles (like a monastery):
  • 3 points for each monastery on up to 9 tiles
  • 2 points for every follower on up to 9 tiles
  • 2 points for each pennant on up to 9 tiles
  • 1 points for each tile with at least one road
  • 1 points for each tile with at least one city

"with at least" so the monastery one delivers the best scoring option. a possible 24 points..

You made me curious, why you need a non-complete set, not in a good condition? :o

The watchtower guys look like some kind of adjustment of The messages. 1 point per roadtile in a certain distance (8 tiles?)?

I suspect that we'll see Wheel of Fortune taking the Expansion #7 spot in the future, especially since they were released at around the same time. It just makes sense if they are going to drop Catapult anyway.

Interesting. Do we have anything suggesting they will really drop The Catapult in version 2.0? I had never thought of Wheel of Fortune as a possible replacement until your comment.

Who knows. Most catapult versions are sold out. That means that HiG possibly thinks it can be worth to sell this expansion also..

Still most of the community already has them right?  I can understand if you buy the normal expansions a second time.. but, i think (although i don't speak for the rest) people won't buy it.

If there are a whole new generation of gamers growing up with the new edition of Carcassonne (as it sounds like there are) then why wouldn't they sell them something that they've already designed once and which proved popular with the first generation of players?

I guess that if HiG wants to be populair rather then get money. then i totally agree with you.. it then would make sense to me

Knowing that most of the Carcassonne community wont buy it.

You think? A lot of people now are coming to the new edition of Carcassonne with little or no exposure to the old art version. I don't see why they would be any less interested in any of the 2012 mini expansions than we were when they first became available. But maybe I'm wrong.

My guess is that they would release new mini's rather then the old ones. Because if they do so, everyone buys it. And that is what you want as a publisher right?

Don't underestimate the new edition of Carcassonne. If social media is anything to go by ~60% of photographs shared are the new artwork and we know the new WatchTowers expansion is only produced in the new artwork.
If so, then it would finally be the time that I buy carcassonne 2.0 (just for the japanese temples, watchtower and abbot)

Aside from river 1, river 2 and the count. I dont see any reprints of any miniexpansion. It would be too expansive to reproduce them. Knowing that most of the Carcassonne community wont buy it. The only thing I can imagine is that they would bundle them in a box like whaley said.

Today still no Carcassonne 2.0 for me

had some deliveries lately

Finally went for the Winteredition of carcassonne. A surprise was that the gingerbread man was in the box, although there wasn't any mention of it on the box. The box also says there are 84 tiles in the package. but there are 90.

Also went for Revolver II, I really liked the first part, so I really want to play this one!

@SRBO - please see the attached image of the 5 unmarked tiles. If they are of use to you and Halfling is happy with the setup, I can send those to you.

@Halfling - sounds good to me. If you're happy split up those tiles (if they are the ones SRBO is after) and still would like to proceed, let me know what delivery you'd like (Standard 1st class is £3.35, however you may want 2nd class or confirmed, etc -http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/RoyalMail_2016_Prices.pdf) and we can take it from there :)

Hi Toasty,

thank you for the image..
Seems its not the same 5 as i was missing sadly.

They aren't all from I&C
You have the parts: EC, ED, EG, EH and (from the base game) part Q. Sadly im missing the non watermarked version of I&C parts: EE, EF, EJ, EP and EQ.
I have these spare ones:
E, W, Q, M and G

If any of these 5 are the ones you miss, im happy to send them away.

Thanks for checking guys!

Funny thing because I was also misled by a dutch person. I had 5 tiles who shouldnt be in there and I assume it was from a base game.
