so there are some tiles which are just strange, in the rules they say its mend to be that way, but why?
just why?
its just doesnt make sense apart from the nice looking thing.
im talking about the tiles SchG and SchH (sorry don't have img atm)
when the 2 SchH tiles are set together the rules say that this becomes 1 city.. there is just this really small part where they hit eachother..
as for the SchG tiles, it looks like the pointy end is missing..
so again..
why?

Soo, today i was able to finally play with a lot of the tiles i have, for the first time i played with double expansions and the wheel of fortune and sheeps in a mega game.
We started at 15:00 setting the whole game up:
The setup:
- Base game 71 tiles
- Base game WoF 72 Tiles
- 2 x Inns 36 Tiles
- River I,II,III 36 Tiles
- The Count
- WoF expansion 12 Tiles
- Sheeps & Hills 18 tiles
- Flyers, ferries, witch 24 tiles
- Abbey and Mayor 12 tiles
- King and scout tiles 5 tiles
- shrines and heretics 5 tiles
- The german cloisters 6 tiles
- crop circles II 6 tiles
We didnt want the dragon tiles in it, because when the game gets huge you walk to nowhere with the dragon.
we also choose not to add the messengers, robbers because of the confusion with the points.. (dislike to have so many meeples on the scoreboard)
The 2 Traders and builders and the goldmines we didnt play just because we didnt want to much tiles.
The Followers
Each player had:
- 12 Followers
- 2 big followers
- 2 builders
- 1 wagon
- 1 shepherd
- 1 mayor
- 1 abbeytile
we choose to add 4 extra followers because when we play with german cloisters and wheel of fortune you loose so many followers..
the 2 builders can never be in 1 city, each has them own plans, so they would argue all the time.
The game
at 15:20 finally the game was ready
we started with the WoF tile and next to it the carcassonnecity..
3 rivers then were put down.
the game then slowly got forward, at some points my little brothers were fighting over a farm of 19 cities both lost 3 farmers with it. The youngest finally got another 1 into the farm winning the farm.
I was black, the middle bro was green and the youngest red.
As you can see in the picture we were fighting over an 42 point city. and they both almost stole it at the last moment. the Youngest then put down an Hill to claim the city.. but, i draw the one tile i needed and keeping the city for myself.
in the end. i ended up with no big farm, the youngest with the 19 city farm and with 3 german cloisters.
I also ended up with 3 of those, but mine got more points..
I had 564 points,
the middle one got 414 points
and the youngest had 506 points.. but he had the 19 city farm. and with that he had 563 points..
making me the winner with 1 point.
we ended at 18:45

Lately when im playing with my little bro's or gf, i notice that the almost never use some of the meeples.
Funny because they find it out way to late so making me a winner at the last turns.
simply because i did use the barn, shepherd, pig and the Count-expansion.
They just really ALWAYS forget it.. Lol.
In some cases i also am the only one with a farmer.
so do you also notice the same with your carcompanions?

With the recent buying of the Big Box 5, i'm missing the following parts to complete my collection:
Barn, Wagon and Mayor in purple,
Shephard in Brown
3 times Abbey tile.
How and where is the best way to get these part in Netherlands (Europe)

So hello again, I dunno if anyone already saw it, but there is an intressting new big box coming out in the netherlands: http://www.999games.nl/spel/Carcassonne%2BBig%2BBox%2B2It contains: carcassonne Wheel of fortune River I The expansion Sheeps and Hills Traders and builders and.. 2 new colors: pink and purple. sadly sheeps and hills as a stand alone box hasnt been out yett in the netherlands.

Hello guys,
I have a question about tile BO (the cloister within the city)
As soon as I saw this tile i had the following view of it:
when you place the tile in a city player 1(you) owns, you can also put a follower on it.
when player 2 places the tile in a city player 1 owns he cannot put a follower on the cloister, because the city is bound to player 1.
the followers on the cloister do NOT count to the total amount of followers in the city..
Am i correct?

The Cloisters
This mini expansion, first published at Easter 2014, beautifies your monasteries in Carcassonne base game.
We have 6 monasteries of Germany chosen (in reference to the Zeichenbarkeit). This can your austasuchen with those from the base game, or simply take additional time.
The exact details can be found in the rule (click here).
The monasteries are the 14:04:14 Available from Monday to Sunday 27/04/14 in our shop. They are then distributed exclusively only on the Carcassonne tour, then in October (probably to match 2014) to be normal again available.
Currently, several other partners interested in the monastic system, so it may be that in future there will be several variants of different countries. Should add more info, you can find it here. they cancelled corn, tunnels and plague,
But they really should make one with the following:
- Plague
- Tunnels
- Kathars / Siege / Belager.
- Mini-Expansion
Really want this tiles, Original but not for 60 euro's.

Farms are great, at the end they deliver you huge amount of points, when placed correctly.
When playing with smart players its very wisely to keep an eye on the possible farms.
at the other side when you play a farm to fast you could end up with a little farm and a lost follower.
What kind of tactic do you guys use?
I prefer to start a farm as quickly as possible when i see an opportunity to get a big farm. the rest of the game i work to make it as big as possible.

Hello Guys,
I have a question.
When you place a barn on a field with followers, the players with the most followers on the field gets 3 points per city (unless u have pigs) but what if my own followers are in that field? do i also get 3 points per city?
because then u could get 2 times the amount of points for that field.
