With the Big Box 5 rules, there has actually been a change to the rule for the Famine sector. This space used to give points to farmers "in the same way as farms are scored during final scoring" (i.e. requiring a majority, per clarifications). Now the points go to all farmers, regardless of majority status, which is more in line with the rules for Tax/Taxes and Inquisition. I for one like this change, as I thought the old rule was cumbersome and didn't fit with the rest of the Wheel.

Interesting. I think we always scored all farmers though already. Doesn't the wheel say "all farmers" or something like that? That is a nice relief that logic is prevailing though :(y)

The old wheel did say "all farmers," but then there was a poorly written statement in parentheses at the end of the rule (scoring was the same as at the end of the game) that was supposed to indicate that it was only for majority owners. (I, too, had initially assumed that all farmers truly got the points, but a clarification indicated that "end of the game" scoring was supposed to indicate majority farmers. Not sure why they didn't just state the bit about a majority in the rule if that's what they wanted... ) In any event, a better interpretation has prevailed.
