Finally received my copy of the Winter-Edition 2021 (as well as Memoir '44 Pacific Theater) from The-Edge. Thanks so much for sending it all the way to New Zealand! It looks great and I already had the Gingerbread Man all ready to add to the box when it arrived. I have Kornkriese in storage in the US, so that one will have to wait to be added, but I'm super happy having Winter-Edition in time for Christmas (even if Christmas is in summer here). Cheers!

Hi all.

As someone living in the UK and completely new to the game can someone clarify the following. Is the winter edition of the game only available to buy online at https://cundco.de/en/ during certain periods of the year? I cannot see any sellers in the UK, and I have my heart set of this version as a Christmas gift

Hi Hamerbean, and welcome to the forum!

The winter edition was initially released in 2012 (after a download and print to play version the year before), and at that point was fairly widely available.
Unfortunately it's been out of print for a few years now, and with that, became more difficult to find for a reasonable price.
Last year, a newer Winter edition was released, exclusive to the Müller store chain in Germany. These have been also fairly tricky to get, but with some help, quite a few people on this forum have been able to get one.

Perhaps someone could help you get this version, or otherwise keep an eye on eBay (although they tend to go for higher prices these days)

Hamerbean actually touched a point that I am also curious about: was the winter edition available to purchase at Cundco back in 2012 or any time later? I guess many of us bear a hope that the new edition with the river will appear on sale at winter time to overcome currently rather sketchy availability. But shall we keep this faith?
