This Labyrinth tile has me thinking that we really should come up with a few variant start tiles that have some special feature unique to the start tile that all players can earn a bonus off of if they expand from it (kind of like the German Castles mechanic but on a single tile). Just something to get the game started on the right foot. It doesn't even have to score points – it should just stand out like the start tile in Hunters & Gatherers does.

Or FRFR? Or anything else without a city?
Reading through this thread has made me sad that I'll be owning a potential useless tile. Then again, the completionist in me will be kicking myself in a years time if I didn't own it. The choice is too much to handle!
