I think this "komplettierpack"is only extra cards for the NEW version. Can someone confirm? Google translate does not do a good job.

Or can these cards with updated graphics be played with the OLD version and would fit on the old board?

I don't speak the language but this phrase:

"Der Komplettierpack zur neuen Version von sankt Petersburg"

surely is translated (without a translator) as completion (expansion?) pack for the new version of Sankt Petersburg.

Yep, thanks Paul. I kind of understood that but I was still hoping these cards could be used to replace the old art.

Unlike Carcassonne, I have never been impressed by the graphics of the first edition but I do enjoy the game a lot.

The Komplettierpaket are cards in new style to play the expansion "in bester Gesellschaft" in the old style - it is now played different in the new style.
