Thanks Decar. I heard they were back, but I have to somehow justify spending €10 on one card since purchases must be a minimum of €10. Such a pain.

I ordered 2 sets of the 5 promos the other week to make it 10€.  Totor66 just started a thread, he's after 2 of them - perhaps you can work together?
Unlikely since I'm in New Zealand and shipping out of here is really expensive, even just for an envelope. I'm thinking of ordering the five promos, the Messe Essen, and the Catan board and selling the entire set on the local ebay wannabe site. That would be retail €8.00 plus shipping. I am hoping that they re-release the higher-quality military counter, though, as I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

The wonder Catan is unfortunately out of order :(

I went a bit crazy and bought a signed version of it (by the guy from Catan) for a bit more expensive.

Guess I'll buy 2 of each stuff, but I checked and shipment to NZ should cost 3,40 € for signed sending and just 0,90 € for standard letter from Germany

let me know if you don't prefer that option, I will order in the next days ;)

Edited a poor post that didn't describe this is a custom cup with the artwork from Glory to Rome board game:  ::)

https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/19857/glory-rome

I was going to post this in the, 'I hate the postman', thread but that has been locked  ;D

Received this unfortunate delivery today. It was poorly packaged but stuff happens. I'm sure it will be taken care of.

I'm just happy to have a copy of the elusive Black Box Glory to Rome, so I'm not complaining too much  :)

That's a sad sight to see franks. That mug looked pretty cool, are you getting a replacement?

Sorry i closed the other thread. I decided there was already too much hate in the world and it seemed to shift to impatient people receiving artwork they didn't like a few days later than somone else.  There seemed to a few double posts appearing too.

Thanks Decar, yes I had a speedy reply from the UK company and they will get a replacement out this week!

In regards to the thread, I couldn't agree more. Didn't much like the title, with all due respect to the creator  :)

Another nice delivery today!

I've mentioned in previous posts elsewhere my love of painting miniatures and proper tabletop mini games. Well I've become a big fan of Osprey's Frostgrave. It is a very approachable game with an interesting theme built around magic and fantasy. It has a relatively easy rule set and can be used with only a few models. One can use any fantasy based miniatures they have around, though they do offer their own dedicated range.

Anyway this comes in a lovely case from Reaper that included a complimentary primer paint that I wasn't expecting. Well impressed.

If anyone is curious, here is a link and a video of game play that features this same mini set.

Every time we get a new game, I check the BGG store and see promos for them.  It is rather addictive.

I missed today's delivery and had to go pick it up.

Looks nice!

Sushi Go and Splendor are our favorite quick games.  Glad to hear the expansion is good.

It really is, Dirk.  The day I ordered the Carc2 versions of the first 2 expansions and the Broken Token insert, I caught wind of the CON tiles for Suburbia being released, so I ordered that and the Promo roles for Pandemic.  At the very least, the Con tiles don't add any new rules to the game, just a new Synergy.  I'm doing a variant of Pandemic Promo roles where it applies to EVERY PLAYER in the game instead of just the promo role, just like how it is set up in Forbidden Desert.  The only change I have to make for a normal role is the Quarantine Specialist: She still takes a wound if she's in the same situation that everyone else is in (Infection card gets drawn during the infect phase of a turn or during an epidemic), but everything else applies to her (No cube is added to her city and if there's a quarantine marker there it doesn't get reduced or removed).  I will say that the promo role cards for Pandemic is much bigger than I anticipated, MUCH larger than a Tarot card (most of the cards in Elder Sign, for instance)

I almost ordered the Pandemic promo roles.   Since I got Pandemic Legacy for my wife as a birthday present, I didn't.

My girlfriend found the catapult and ordered it. It was still unpunched, although I'm not really interested in it. I think it belongs in my collection. Very close to total completion now... still missing 5 -6 pieces.. (3 schoolbags and teachers, cult siege and creativity and the grey scoreboard and maybe windroses II) Not the most difficult pieces, but the postman comes at my house too much now.. I let her rest for a while.
