It's funny because I had a holiday on Dunwich last year... when it was released. I didn't see any elder-ones though.

You might want to look at:
http://www.patriotgames.ltd.uk/department/27/Play-Mats/

They're quite expensive, but from what I've heard: good results.

Thanks Decar!

Problem is I'm in Spain and shipment + price + taxes is horrendously high for two of them.

Thanks anyway!

PS: BTW, I spent last week in London for my birthday and for sure I willl be coming back to UK. So much to explore!

Now that I remember. Anyone knows a good place to print customized play mats in Europe?

I have found some really nice made designs on BoardGameGeek and checked some vendors around the web but they are either on the US (shipment its almost half the price) or they're in Europe but either the price or the shipment or the mat itself seems a bit high.

Reviving this post to say I finally got the game! Well, my girlfriend gifted it to me on my birthday with two filler games: Sushi Go and Card Wars from Adventure Times.

We played Sushi Go and it's absolutely a blast. Card Wars is waiting its turn.

But, back on topic. We played Arkham Horror through the first scenario and I have to say it revealed to us as a very deep game ruleset wise. We were playing with the recommended settings and we did it with the rulebook (both of them) at hand for every single step we made.

Also, total play time including set-up was a whopping 3,5 hours!

I'm looking forward to playing the scenario again, with the investigators of our choice, knowing what rules we did wrong and what not in order to progress through the base campaign with them.

Any advice on the game?

Also, do heavy games feel sooooooo heavy (yeah.. I know) the first time you approach their rules? I'm feeling this is because we are really new to the whole boardgame world and I think it will improve as we grasp more and more of the common rules and types of games.

Well, here it comes one of my very first pledges: Tiny Epic Zombies - A Game of Brutal Survival.

I couldn't resist but back for the deluxe version. It seems it packs a lot of fun for the price tag and endless play. I really like the artwork too!

It's already funded and the stretch goals are quite nice.

Some beautiful historical dice being made in this KS. I might go for it and see if they'll give me three Babylonian dice instead of one of each.

Just confirming that I did ask the creators about this and they have indeed agreed to send me three Babylon dice.

These look awesome. The only thing missing are the shipment costs. Do you find it anywhere?

Let me drop this by: If you upload your images to https://tinypng.com/ first, some magic will happen and it will weigh a lot less than it currently does.

I work in advertising as an SEO and I use this more than I would like to admit and, believe me, the improvement in file size is huge and the loss of quality is inappreciable.

Hope it helps!

Thanks Vinçon, I would change it to your site. It's easier then the one I have found :(y) merit from me.

Thanks mate!

Just in case anyone wants to seriously get into the theme of citrus fruits on the Iberian peninsula before playing this game, here's some background information that I stumbled across regarding oranges and citrus fruits in the region while doing this course:

To expand on this: I live in Spain, between Barcelona and Valencia and my family owns a few fincas, some of them with oranges, mandarins and lemons growing.

It's quite common here so I guess I can help anyone who wants to know some more about it. AMA! :P

Hahah! Playing from an abacus?  :P

The single-tile labyrinth and its four multi-tile branches are treated as five "sub-roads" for deployment and occupation, but the whole thing is treated as a single road for completion and scoring.

Man, you are really good. Thank you very much.

Your wording made it much easier to understand. Thank you, Rosco!

Is it just me or the Labyrinth rules are the most unclear thing ever made? And thanks for the translation + merit!
