ZMG made available part of the rules in English on their website. The Supplementary Rules are not available for download yet.

As you may see, the wording has been reviewed slightly (it is closer to the BB6 approach than to the standalone base game rules), and they introduced some small changes in terminology:

* Meeple: they define what a meeple is and make the use the same word for singular and plural.

Finally, let’s take a look at the MEEPLE (“meeple” comes from “my people”, so “meeple” is both singular and plural). The meeple represent your followers who will help you score points during the game. [...]

* Travelers: Highwaymen are renamed as travelers, so no negative connotations derived from the meeples placed on roads. This change is not present in the Czech version of the rules, so this must be a ZMG-only change.

* Nuns and abbesses: Now monks can also be called nuns, and abbots can be called abbessess. I assume these changes are due to political correctness only present so far in the ZMG version of the rules for the time being. The Czech rules still use monks and abbots as usual.

In this regard, I assume the Czech rules are closer to the original German rules, which are not available yet.

As an additional note, in the final scoring section they included the field scoring for the sake of completeness (as they clarify), although field scoring is explained in the supplement rules.

A few typos got their way into the PDF rules, for example in the rules summary. Hope they make another proofreading pass before printing to make them perfect, since the occasion deserves it.

A video review of the 20th Anniversary Edition in German, including some comments on the rules for the base game and the mini expansions included.

You wull fully enjoy it if you understand German. In my case I just tried to pick some German words here and there and enjoy some pictures of the actual box and the game included in the video...

Its a good video yes. If you dont understand German well enough; there's nothing really said that we didnt already know, but it is still a nice review/first look of the game
