I just got my latest Cundco order, with only 12 days from order to receipt in the US.  Pretty impressive turnaround.

My shipment from Cundco arrived too!

Looking at the home page for Cundco, I see it mentions a special limited version of Markets to Leipzig, with an extra Meeple, a numbered certificate and signature from KJW. Did the version you got have that with it? Looking at the product page, there is no mention of it being a limited version. (Hopefully not a sore subject; just trying to figure out my Cundco order and it may be worth having a Carc II expansion if it is a limited version). Apologies if this has been discussed ad nauseam somewhere else.

Really, most excited for the Stone Age mini expansion!

Your post just initiated a plan for me to order that Stone Age mini expansion tomorrow. Looks like fun.

While it does stink that CarcC has not been granted the same treatment as CarcF, as a fan (of C1), I'm glad we at least have an option to join a free (German) forum to download C2 to C1 conversions that HiG has approved. Although navigating the forum isn't easy through translations, CarcF has welcomed CarcC input and collaborations on these conversions going forward. Maybe Safari can post links to the download pages on CarcF on this thread for people who are members of both forums?

For what it's worth, I think Just a Bill handled this thread properly by stating from the onset that he would not be sharing full tile sets for his conversions. And I do like the Abbot gardens he came up with.

Decar cost me money for this one too; but luckily I have some of the other expansions so only for $20 USD this time.

Just received my copy of the Japanese Buildings/Monasteries. They look pretty cool. Thanks to MrNumbers again for hosting the quiz. Amorpheus I hope you enjoy your Russian Promo Tiles.

Glad to hear they arrived and hopefully in good condition.

Edit: just received my Russian tiles in the mail. Thanks Mr Numbers and thanks to Mikeagan for allowing the exchange.

Quizzes, Puzzles and Challenges / Re: Carcassonne Central Online Quiz

Also wanted to mention a website my kids use that may work well for quizzes like this. It's called kahoot.it. You just need to give everyone a code and we could all connect and see how many answers were right/wrong, without showing who got it wrong, and with a timer for each question. I think it tracks scores for the host but not sure. You'd probably still want to have the chat room for discussion while the quiz is going on. Not sure it would work (not clear if it works well with each person on remote devices) but thought I'd mention it in case it's easier for Mr Numbers.

Congrats Mikeagan! Thanks again to Mr Numbers for the fun quiz. You may want to consider stating a rule at the beginning that none of the answers should be googled or otherwise researched while the quiz is taking place. Can't enforce it of course, but put everyone on the honor system. I tried to answer each question quickly so there would be no doubt about looking up answers. My 10 minutes of research before the quiz did come in handy though. I should have included Amazonas in that research!

Am I wrong in thinking the standard version of Rise of Tribes is good enough? The deluxe version adds wooden components of standard version tokens, but doesn't feel worth the additional $20 USD plus $2 additional shipping. Most people are going with the deluxe version, so I must be in a minority that doesn't mind cardboard tokens (I haven't upgraded my Carc trade goods for example to the wooden versions that are available from Spielmaterial for example).

If my Apple World Clock is accurate, 6am in Latvia is 11pm for Eastern US (EDT). I can do either day; probably prefer Friday but both should work.

Should be fun. Not that I have any chance against the competition, including people as up to date as Whaleyland, who provides excellent element of the week analysis. My main Carc days were 2009-2013. Hard to get others to play now. So expect me to come in last.

I'm on the fence about Rise of Tribes. I'll probably break down and back it since I think it's about to end.
