Hi there!
I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea about future expansions?
I know a Big Box is coming up, but are there any new (mini or full) expansions planned for release?

But to sum up in USA expansions 1-3 are available, in Germany expansions 1-5 are available.
Expansions 6, 8, 9 and a new expansion called "Manege Frei" seems to be released within this year. According to the mini expansions, they seem to be available somewhere around but there is no clear plan for now.
But in a previous email they told me mini expansions will be released about at the end of 2017.
Expansion 7 doesn't seem to be available.

2- Traders and Builders
3- The Princess and The Dragon
4- The Tower
5- Abbey and Mayor
6- Count, King and Robber
7- The Catapult
8- Bridges, Catles and Bazaars
9- Sheep and Hills
10- 'Manege Frei'

Expansion 9 has not yet been announced in the new artwork. They have gone on record saying that Expansion 7 will not be re-released, at least not before other Carcassonne items are re-released first. There is also no word yet on whether Wheel of Fortune will be released in the new art.

Actually last year they told me they prepare Sheep and Hills (Expansion 9) in the new design -see the capture of the mail below-. So I assume and hope it will be available soon :)

Interesting... yet the box designs for Expansions 6 and 8 have leaked but not for Expansion 9. I feel they may have jumped the gun on that one and they have a full slate for 2017 announced.

Was poking around on Amazon (as part of a game blinging project), saw that Festival did get a 15th year Anniversary reprint, nothing new it looks like except for those that adopted the new artstyle. Maybe a leak as I don't see Festival 15 on Cundco yet.

You can see this post for further information. There are 10 new tiles for new artstyle. I bought on Amazon, mine seems to be arriving today :)

It doesn't have an expansion number like the other 10. It's also a stand-alone game. Therefore it exists in a kind of grey area in terms of categorisation, because there's nothing else like it in the Carcassonne universe.

Wheel of Fortune can take the place of The Catapult.

Instead of paying $15 for an older version, I can wait for the newer version and pay $5. The gray player will get stuck with a pink instead of purple phantom.

There is a purple phantom for the grey player in the older version, too ...

my lgs still has like 100 of the phantom expansion.

Our LGS has the old art base game and that is it. I have checked 7 different stores around me.
