Legacy Version (4.6.1) bug on macOS Big Sur
(1/1)
Ghiova_4:
hello everyone,
I'm new in the community, it's nice to meet many Carcassonne fans!
I played a few months with JCloister Zone Legacy Version on a Microsoft PC and everything went fine (amazing work of the author, love it).
One month ago I bought a MacBook Air and I can't play anymore with the game. The game runs without problems until I start a new game. When I do that, nothing is shown, no tiles, no points, absolutely anything (see picture below).
I don't know what to do so I will really appreciate any suggestion. Sorry for bothering you all guys!
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear you're having issues to JCloisterzone, hopefully one of the developers can pick this up and offer you some advice.
I'm not a Mac user either. But is it possible to start JCloistezone using your command-line interface?
There is likely an error that may be printed on the command-line that could be used to explain the issue.
I'm not sure where JCloisterzone is installed on a Mac either, but there might be a log file with an error in it too.

Thanks for your reply,
This is my first Mac after having used Microsoft for years so I'm still learning everything ... far from being a skilled user. Anyway it seems like there is an issue with plugins as the "tile distribution" interface shows nothing

I've got the same issue. I think we must use BGA for the meantime. - :pink-meeple:
