Tips on how to organize mini expansions without a box?
« on: March 18, 2022, 02:12:24 AM »
As you can see from the attached photo, I keep everything in their original box. But what about all those mini expansions without a box? I'm looking for mini boxes good for keeping those tiles once I'll punch them out but any tip or suggestion from you experts is very accepted and welcome  :green-meeple:

There are some 3rd party dividers to store more in a normal box, but you could also try these:

Or an artsbin, like Scott has showcased recently   ;D

What about projector slides containers like this one or these ones? Do you think they could be a good idea? Carcassonne tiles are 4.5cm wide while slides are 5cm wide, they may be perfect

Yeaaaah I can't wait! I almost completed my collection thanks to spielmaterial.de and cundco.de... now I only miss the apparently unfindable japanese buildings!  >:D

Cundco currently has the new tuckboxes available:
https://cundco.de/en/accessories/443/tuckbox-set-3.0?c=36
They also have the large and small tuckboxes individually, but seems to be a max of 5 in each category.

May I ask where did you get your fortune teller from? It looks great!

Did you see my video yesterday? I put all the tiles in tuckboxes which are available in the downloads area. You can fit all the minis in your BigBox. You could probably fit your entire collection in a BigBox if you remove the insert.

Are these OK for double tiles, like the ones from German Cathedrals? From the sizes, I would say no...

Nope... This are for square tiles (and Halflings so to speak).

All of the custom boxes presented here and in other threads are really great but in the end I decided to go for my original idea, the "Projector Slides cotnainers" one:

Now the dividers are hand made using some hard cardboard but I'm looking forward replacing them with some plastic dividers.

Great boxes!

Many yonks ago I make some boxes out of styrofoam/posterboard sheets.
They weren't great and eventually started using small cloth bags - But I do like these boxes a lot!
