I actually like The Meeple's Gambit a bit better, but that's probably because it rolled of the tongue a bit easier

I am in agreement here. I also think the Carcassonne logo/font looks out of place on the dark picture

Between these two, I prefer Meeple’s Gambit.

But I think it would be much better to use a specific role, such as “Monk’s Gambit” or “Knight’s Gambit”. The idea of a “Gambit” is to dare your opponent to take a tactical gain in exchange for strategic defeat. So, what are our favorite traps? I’m thinking about offering, say, an easy 6-point city with a tile placement that would make it easy to connect your farmer or create a hole to trap opponent’s meeples.

Also I want to see visions of Carcassonne landscapes on the ceiling…

The riskiest landscape feature is farming, so I think a Meeple's Gambit could be when you place a meeple as a farmer very early in the game, but by the end of the game his farm is worth nothing because he's surrounded by river and roads.
