Brugge

I just watched the English explanation video and this game looks fantastic. HiG released the German version two weeks ago. The English version is not released yet, but it will be published by Z-Man Games.

I read on BGG that according to Kalinda at Z-Man Games, this won't be released in North America until Q4 (same time as Carc: Winter Edition)

That looks interesting.  I'm always up for a new Eurogame.

We saw this at Z-Man at Gencon but did not get a chance to try it out. The tables were full and it looked like it would be a while before they would start up another demo. It looks quite full of components. Don't know if that means complicated or not but it sure looks to be right up my alley  ;D

I have played a number of games designed by Stefan Feld. Here is a brief rundown:

(1) Castle of Burgundy
Highly recommend this game. Plays well with 2, 3, or 4 players. My wife requests this game a lot now. One of our favourites with lots of re playability.

(2) Trajan
An interesting game with a lot of different options for victory points. This is a bit more complex, but quite enjoyable. I really like the mancala-cube mechanism.

(3) Rialto
I have only played this twice, but I very much like the game. Simple rules, but solid depth to the strategy. Great blend of simplicity and strategy.

(4) Bruges
I have only played this once and I like the options and mechanics in the game. I want to play more to get a solid idea of where I would rank this.

Thanks for the run-down Bixby. I trust your taste in games and so will watch out for these.

I concur with this. Burgundy quickly became a favourite for the mate and me. Bora Bora might be a better game though, but is harder to get a grip on.

I have never played a bad Feld game, although obviously some are weaker than others.
