Title: Perception
Post by: danisthirty on December 21, 2015, 05:51:54 AM
I stole the image below from Facebook as it made me laugh: :))

Is this true for anyone else?

haha yes. The last picture (the rulebook!) really nails me. My wife avoids the rulebook like the plague, but I find the CAR fascinating to read. :) Rules and game mechanics are just interesting to me!

I so read the rules forever. Trying to find loopholes obviously.

Considering how many rules booklets I have made (or remade) for games, I think I have to say yes. Definitely yes. Also, spaghetti.

@whaleyland - a few weeks (OK, possible months) ago you posted something on Facebook (or liked it, I find it difficult to keep track of what's what nowadays) that was one of those "This is what you/ I do on Friday night" type things. The "you" picture was a bunch of cool looking people at a house party. 8) The "I" picture was a guy dressed as Gandalf at home by himself (presumably). Anyway, I found it very funny. Please post it here if you still happen to have it to hand. :-*

@Decar - I know exactly what you mean. Hopefully by the time I'm forced to change my name to danis40 (I will never be "danisforty" as the o is too easy to "accidentally confuse" with an a) the kids will be old enough to make up the numbers...
