Fish Pond Fan Expansion?

Hoping this is the right forum to ask. Wandering around the Carcassonne forums recently, I came across an idea for a fan expansion, such that when a tile with a pond was played, a fish meeple was immediately placed in the pond and the player then continued their turn as per normal. When the pond was surrounded by tiles, a la Cloister, the player who placed the final tile scored the fish for 9 points and continued their turn as usual.

I can't remember where I was the expansion and hunting for it has been fruitless. Does this strike a bell with anyone, and does anyone know where the details are?

Nothing springs to mind immediately and I've tried a few text searches (including "9 points") without luck here and the archived forum.

I've helped create a list on Wikicarpedia of all the known fan expansions, and there are quite a few that use fish tokens, but they are mostly associated with rivers, and some with fishermen (a mix of river and lake based expansions). You can see what's listed at :-

where you select categories (and within them, sub-categories) - select all (except Publishers) to start with, then remove any you don't want - then scroll down looking for expansions that have fish tokens or fish meeples. You have to have something selected in each category otherwise you get no results.

These pages list published fan expansions, others that have had some development/design/rules, and some "musings/ideas" In some cases, if it was a minor suggestion it might have been overlooked.

I've asked @Meepledrone to move the comments into tabs (which he's created) on the Selector. That is the final thing to be done at this stage. I don't know when he'll be able to do it.

Hi Woz,  Welcome to the forum.

This sounds like one of the many many many different variants of the Fishing Huts that were originally created and worked like a cloister on the river and then got extended. I'm not sure all the variants of the rules still exist. I think Wolnic's page probably includes them by name. But I think this was the original and a good place to start:
