I think the only thing we're expecting is the desert themed spin off

Although I have not bought any of the New Edition base or expansions, I'm really interested in seeing what they'll do with the 7th Expansion spot.

The German and Dutch editions (and perhaps the English as well) of the new expansions all say the number they are ("Expansion 1" or "2nd Expansion", etc). If you would buy all expansions, you would have 1 to 6 and 8 to 10. I'm curious if they will release a new expansion and give it the 7th spot or release something we already know and give it the 7th spot (Maybe Wheel Of Fortune, or a collection of promos and mini expansions, much like the 6th Expansion), or if they'll never release an expansion with the number 7 and everyone will have a gap in their numbering....

Perhaps HiG could combine those ideas and release Wheel of Fortune along with some mini-expansions.

HiG will probably just leave a gap. They continue to list the Catapult as expansion 7 on their website, but it says it's "no longer available" and they will not be releasing it in the new art. I personally think they should replace it or rework it. #abandonednotabandoned

As for new stuff coming this year: Z-Man is releasing #4 The Tower and #6 Count, King, and Robber in English in the new art this year. HiG is releasing #9 Hills and Sheep in German in the new art this year. Cundco.de has a new mini expansion The Fruit-bearing Trees which will be available to order soon.

I wish that they could replace the seventh expansion with a new edition of the Catapult. Personally, I really enjoyed the expansion, even if it was a little silly.
