I have been away from the website for a bit recently, but I also recieved a surprise package. The Wind Roses expansion completes my collection (other than the Cathars), so a big Thank You to everyone involved!

The mystery of the Surprising Package has kept me interested for days - glad it is finally in the open!

Are there any spare packages that could maybe be for sale?? Die Windrosen is the only expansion that I need for the complete collection!

The Wind Roses is not for selling yet (later this year: - HiG - CundCo Shop)....
It is a prize for the activity here in the forum.

Wow - that's very impressive of HiG to hand out these surprise packages to the people who do so much on Carcassonne Central!

It's also nice to get a sense of the pleasure these guys have demonstrated in their posts! :-)

I must ask, any idea when the Windrosen will become available on the HiG website?

And is it too early to find out when something else will be available? To quote kettlefish:
"And this year is not over...we will see what happens during this year..."

Mind you, I'm also hoping that a few things that are no longer available (like Die Katharer, Der Tunnel, La Porxada) will become available again (even if they weren't originally HiG releases).

Don't forget me! I've been updating my Carcassonne tile tuckboxes collection for years, and I don't even have a copy of the Windrose expansion! (I did create a tuckbox for it anyways!)

you are welcome to include the tuckboxes on the site. That said, the latest version will be uploaded to the BGG site first in the event of further updates.

glad to see the site working again, and the renewed interest of this group!
