Much as I agree with the sentiments, those are some meeples that really need to be eaten by the dragon - for the sake of music you understand. Or maybe they could just be grated and served up as Welsh rarebit.

I am Scooter fan for over 20 years now, and one song has very close associations with Carcassonne.
The most "Carcassonne moment" starts at 1:11.

I'm curious, is there any link between the type of music one likes and the musical passions they pursue? Or in the way people pursue their passions?

Among other genres, I'm a great fan of prog rock. Anyone else here of that ilk?

MINE:
Yes, Drama (fans will know that this is a controversial choice, it doesn't matter though as quality triumphs)
Paul Simon, the Capeman (about a journey, somehow a fitting theme)
The Bathers, Sweet Deceit (glasgow's finest, pt 1)
The Blue Nile, A walk across the rooftops (glasgow's finest, pt 2)
Hall & Oates, Abandoned Lucheonette (if you've never heard this LP, you've never heard perfection - yet)

*this question respects that all taste is ephemeral, my list would change tomorrow (if not sooner)

Not sure where else to put this, (no doubt MrNumbers will find a home) but thought some of you might like to listen.

An independent indie musician called Geriant Luff posted a tweet about his new album which includes a song inspired by Carcassonne.

I think it's got a slight fantasy vibe, and really it makes me want to watch a Japanese anime about Carcassonne to which it would be the intro-music.
