We like to keep all negotiations for items in the open if possible so that everyone can see what 'reasonable' rates are.

Can you tell me what makes you think that C3 only come with rounded corners? It's simply not true as Willem says, and we see people getting mislead by this over and over again. I'd really like to correct the source of this misinformation!
It's disappointing to hear Z-man isn't consistent. I suspect this is because the Zman 20thC was printed in the Netherlands, but I don't know where the big box was printed, it should say on the back near the barcode.

This has been going on a lot longer than COVID-19.
On the UK (and Ireland) Map, Plymouth is a large city, which wasn't granted city status until 1928.
Also the Darmstadtium building opened in 2008.

Depending on the numbers, we usually all prepare to teach a game, so we all get to play different stuff. And there's always an obligatory game of Carcassonne or two!

I think the sort of play you're referring to is entirely fair though. I think it's unjust, unequal, and unfair to demand that another player has to be nice to you at the expense of their own detriment!
