Ah, there's the list! Thanks. Hmm, I wonder why I thought the Besiegers was one of them...
Ah, here it is. It's because on this list, CarcII Artwork Expansions, there's a C2 adaptation of the various Besiegers/Siege/Cathar tiles only it's called the Attackers/Assailants.

Maybe HiG plans to convert to C3 some of them, The Besiegers at least? The rules for some of them are even featured with the C3 logo!
Like Matisek, I highly doubt they'll convert these to C3. Especially given that I read somewhere on this forum that permission was given to update certain expansions from C1 to C2 because it was highly unlikely that HiG would be updating them (I'm pretty sure the Besiegers was one of them).

Also, it looks like they're planning to put all the rules online, also from the base game, major expansions, spin-offs, etc.
Will be interesting to see if there will be more references to WICA or if they'll just post the original documents as they were.

I see the image! :D Update: I checked it on both the app on my phone and on my laptop. I see the image in both! Woohoo!
Glad you found a way around the new security 'feature'  ::) .

Not sure if this has happened before but I just noticed that for the English version of some rules, Cundco refers to the WICA pages! Apparently they've been adding the Rules online for some of the older (C1) mini-expansions. The German versions of the rules are there, but for the English rules of Windroses, Besiegers, and (Little) Houses, you end up on the relevant WICA page. So, to everyone who has worked and is still working on WICA: your work is definitely appreciated! :yellow-meeple:

Rules old mini expansions on Cundco

Yes, exactly: on Tapatalk I see both the images (between the horizontal lines and the one at the end of the post).
On my laptop, I only see the one at the end of the post.
Hope it helps!  :yellow-meeple:

Hi kothmann,

Interesting: when I look at your post on my laptop, I only see the image on Flickr.
When I look on the Tapatalk app, I do see the image from Google Drive and (eventually) also the image on Flickr. (That one took a bit longer to load on the app but it got there with a bit of patience.)

No clue why it wouldn't show using one device and does show on another...

I had already tried clearing the cache and cookies before responding yesterday. Still no difference, although it does indeed only seem to affect those two pages.

For me, on my MacBook, it works in Safari but still not in Chrome. (Still no problems on my phone.)

Same problem here (in The Netherlands). Although for some reason I can access it on my phone (both Safari and Chrome browser) but it’s not working on my laptop…

Thanks for organising this quiz, Meepledrone! Unfortunately, I caught on a little late, figured I might catch up, and then basically all my plans were turned upside down and I found myself way behind. So instead I decided to just enjoy the whole tale with all the shenanigans. And enjoy I did! ;D So, thanks! Hopefully next time I'll be able to join in. :)

- Meepledrone: What do you mean?

the translation for question "d" in French is not understandable
Je pense que c’est quelquechose comme ça:

Jaune a un champ situé au sommet. Combien de points gagne jaune avec ce champ?

(J’espere que c’est plus claire maintenant. Je parle seulement un petit peux de français.)

General / Re: What's up with the River in Big Box 5?
« on: December 20, 2023, 05:21:39 AM »
It should be The River II: The Count's (Wounded) Pride.
Haha, love it.

So might ‘that other river’ be called: The River that shall not be named?

Whoops, late reply. But thanks for your answers!

Did you randomly choose which side you'd add a little flower or did you try and make some kind of distribution of different features?
Haha, it’s a bit embarrassing how much time and effort I put into this.
Hehehe, I'm familiar with the feeling.

Here is a spreadsheet and a couple of photos of the front and back sides:

Thanks! Loving the spreadsheet.

Meeples are numbered so we can play our Spies & Assassins variant:

Ah, thanks! Will have to dive into that a bit more when I'm not on a time limit. It looks interesting.

I made the mat using inexpensive tyvek sheets and sharpies.  See here:

Oh, nice. Never heard of tyvek. I was thinking it looked a little like pattern paper but I figured it couldn't be that as it would probably tear too easily.  :)

(Sorry, many questions. ;D)
No apologies!  The whole reason I post is in the hope that someone will enjoy a shared experience!  Have fun!
Thanks! Definitely having fun, even if it's just knowing there are other people enjoying Carcassonne so much.  :yellow-meeple:

Ooh, I like it. Smart to include a symbol to indicate which side is supposed to face downwards in case you're only allowing a double-sided tile to be played on one side. And for variety, you could always decide to have the flower-side up instead of down. Did you randomly choose which side you'd add a little flower or did you try and make some kind of distribution of different features?

May I ask why the meeples are numbered? And what kind of material are you using for your mat? I kind of like the idea of limiting the playing space.

(Sorry, many questions. ;D)

Ooh, love the looks of this. Love how there are no holes. ;)
And like Bumsakalaka said, great idea to use the frozen meeple to mark whose Wonder it is.  :yellow-meeple:
