I just want to chime in that I also just got the Wonders of Humanity mini expansion and Spell Circles mini expansion recently, and I'm not happy that they aren't including rule sheets any more.  What gives?  I saw that I can access the rules online using the QR code, but I also liked having a physical copy on hand.

I do agree. Not so much to have physical copies available, as I don't mind it too much, but also the large envelopes used.
Especially the WoH comes in a big envelope, even though it doesn't need it.
If there was a rule sheet included, that might justify it hahaha

I guess it is more for being able to use standard sized envelopes

Lately the rules have been so poorly written; this gives them the possibility to update the rules and the QR code always goes to the latest version. Even better if they would go to Wikicarpedia. ;)

If so we could have our revenge and tweak the rules... Mwahahahaha! >:D

On April's Fool, Friday 13th or Halloween could happen odd things to some interactions.... :o :o :o

Needed to add something to an Amazon order to get free shipping, so this was what I choose:

The cover is the nicest part of the very thin book. The typesetting is very amateur. There are literally hyperlinks in various places which are completely useless in a printed book.

So it's look like self-printing release?

Yes, it’s printed on-demand by Amazon from files uploaded by the creator. I did some digging into “Charles River Editors” and found that they have a poor reputation for mining the contents of their books from free online sources. The bibliography is very long. One person on Reddit said that they steal a lot of their content from Wikipedia, but I didn’t see any references to Wikipedia in the bibliography from this particular book. But looking at how many books they’ve released on Amazon, it is a little suspicious.

I can think of at least one Carcassonne related book that's available on Amazon that would have been a much better investment!
