Hi, a message from the author:
My orignial rule doesn't say anything about the number of easter eggs, ("zahlreiche Ostereier", that is "many easter eggs") End scoring was: 10 points for the player with most easter eggs, in case of more than 2 players 5 points for the scond most easter eggs. Only for eggs that were not eaten until then ...
The HiG rule says "zwei Packungen" / "two packets", in Germany this could be about 60 eggs, I think. Here it is 5 points for the second most easter eggs everytime not only for more than 2 players.
Good Easter Times and a bunch of easter eggs for all of you!

Maybe the five brand new river tiles and the 15 20th anniversary tiles are on 1 sheet - together these are 20 tiles. I think the 5 river tiles should also be anniversary tiles ...

I tjhink there can be taxes and tolls, but also a VAT. When you ship something from Germany another country you can buy it without German VAT, but you have to pay the VAT in your country. I think there are different exemption limits in different countries. The brexit is new and now all companies have to learn about the new trading terms.

I think only the box will be language independant (for latin-letter-readers!) and without any further text, perhaps with a banderole or a sticker on the foil. The rules should be language dependent.

You should have a rulebook in your language. The bonus-token on the score track are language independant, but they need an explanation.

A wagon can always be used in a city, in a cloister and on a road, but not on a farm. In the first edition after scoring a wagon can only move from a city, cloister or road to an adjacent city, cloister or road. It cannot drive throug a field. If you placed a wagon on a city with city gates and the city was scored, you can move the wagon to an adjacent road, if there is a road at the edge of the city gate, or to an adjacent city, if there is a city with city gate at the edge with the city gate (so there are two edges with city gates directly connected) - but the wagon may not drive through the city gate, if there is a farm behind it. There is a different rule for the moving of the wagon in the second edition ... I think, he can fly.

You can only take fruit if you place a tile next to the tree and place a meeple on that tile. I would say phantoms are a bit difficult, but id say they dont grand extra fruit. And flyers/portals wont either, as there is no tile placed next to the tree. Also, you can either take fruit, or sell previously harvested fruit, so even if there is still fruit, you can sell. And id say if there is no more fruit on a tree, you just wont get any fruit, but can still sell if you want
The past has shown that the reading of the rules word for word is not a guarantee for all possibilities because the publisher himself had not worked through all possibilities and later he changed the words in the rules ... If you go through alls the expansions you get a lot of questions, beginning with: Only Meeple, and not also the other figures - and what are the differences: mayor yes, pig no? Does the dragon eat fruits, too? And so on ...

The publisher has to take care for many more products - there are so many Carcassonne expansions with potential effects on each other so noone can imagine all those possibilities.
Let#s take the know-how of this forum: are there any questions in the gameplay with other expansions and the fruit-bearing trees?
I only see them in interaction
a) with a phantom: Do you get two fruit-tokens if you place a normal meeple and a phantom meeple on the land tile you just laid down?
b) with a flyer, with magic portals or with the Count of Carcassonne: Do you also get a fruit token if you place a meeple with the flyer or through a magic portal or from the city of Carcassonne on a land tile with a fruit-bearing tree or a land tile next to it?
And by the way: There are 4 fruit token for every land tile with a fruit bearing tree: I think it is possible to place more meeple on the up to 8 tiles of the fruit-bearing tree -what, if there isn't any token left?

It was never printed.
Kjw drew on some sellotape and they stuck it on a regular board.
It wasn't a regular board - the regular back is missing, it's just white. Probably a misprint ...
