Well by official rules for Halfling (C2) published on CarF https://www.carcassonne-forum.de/viewtopic.php?f=383&t=5005,
Monastery is finished if there is nice border of squere size 3x3 which can contain trialngle gap, but only inside quere which not affect border.

I can confirm problem with server, becaouse was more than one our down in maintanance mode and than up and down again.
Hopefully they will solve it. Funny thing is that I gought Half So Wild I last week ago of course on old design.
So we will have 36 halfs ;-)

Each of Leipzig's quarters has one road which starts at its gate. All roads which are connected to these roads offer the possibility of sending one of your meeples to Leipzig. This counts as well for roads which are not directly connected to Leipzig, but are connected through a village.

In german rules:
Dies gilt auch für Straßen, die nicht direkt nach Leipzig führen, aber über Dörfer mit einer Straße nach Leipzig verbunden sind.

So it means streets which end in a city which is connected to Leipzig or other city which is connected to Leipzig or city witch is is connected to city witch is connected to Leipzig or other city which... ;-)

So don't worry.

I guess, there will be no C3 design for some years
C2 was released in 2014 - 14 years after first release of C1. Currently we are in year 2020 (just 6 years after C2).
Last year they create new type of playing: Carcassonne Maps in C2 design. They will want to sell them.

Good point is that this year is 20th annyversary. HiG will publish some anniversary/collector edition, like on 10th with transparent Meeples.

About expansions:
BigBox 2017 is still in stores in all of languages. So Minis 1-7 are still available to buy in this box.

What is missing is "Plague/Siege/Belagerer" in C2 design. It will be nice to publish. But it this time, it can be not good ad for HiG or ZMAN or maybe yes (I think first option).

Currently there are only two official expansions which use Farms and Stables or printed Highwaymen - Markets of Leipzig and Tollkeepers.

So maybe it will come some expansion which will use these printed symbols.
