Hahaha, funny to see how they sometimes reuse these. I've got the Carcassonne & Rio Grande tin combi box, but it's still in shrink, so never opened it to see these things

I am to all for counting it. I like to think Carcassonne is a visual game. So a lot of times I can answer my own questions by looking what the game shows. So with this to, as the meeple is showing in the set parameter

It does look pretty good for a fanmade PnP! Even made the Plague for C2!
U do wonder where they got the blank Russian tiles from, haven't seen that before. Looks cool!

Interesting, never seen any of these before. Seems like someone is quick with doing these in the new art. I checked HobbyWorld, but they don't have this listed there. So yes, could you share the link to the add?

Which vesrion of Crop Circles do you think has a more potentially restrictive layout?
I think CC1 has a more restrictive layout, but CC2 I a bit easier to find

Hi! And welcome to the forum (i see you're relatively new ) One thing i love about Carcassonne is the collection value of the game. There are many many many expansions to hunt down and this has given me much joy over the (last) years. As mentioned before, if you want to hunt down all expansions, Welcome again! You're a competitionist! Some mini expansions i can recommend: German Castles German Monastaries (or the Dutch/Belgian ones) German Cathedrals (great to use in combination with the Ferries) Maps (different countries are available) The Phantom (great for every game) It can be good to check the profile page here on CC; this gives you a (now slightly outdated) list of all expansions/versions/etc available. There are versions of the base game not on there, but it does show you a nice list of (mini)expansions that there are. (and for me it worked against me as i became obsessed with using at a shopping list )

The first set op Russian promos are not really "evil", they don't really allow for much evil play against your opponent. The second set does allow for more "evil play", so those might be good to keep in there. I would add the Crop Circles, as they can be used nicely here. And the River 2 adds a volcano for the Dragon

Hi and welcome indeed!
I agree with Decar, DHgate look very much like shops as AliExpress, Wish etc. Looking at the pictures of the base game in the old art, I am almost certain this is the cheap knock-off you find more often. Tiles are printed in bad quality, with a glare on the tiles, and it just isn't right. And it seems the winter edition is about the same quality.
I can't find Fun You Shop, but let's hope it's a good choice and you get the game soon!

Yeah, saw the announcement on Facebook. I've had a quick read through the rules and its an interesting concept tbh I like how they gave it a twist with the counting. Might give it a try at one point

Depends on a few things.
1. When was the road next to the left castle completed? Shouldn't you have gotten those points with that castle? 2. Is the road next to the top castle completed? If so, same question as above. 3. When was the road to the right of the top castle finished? Same as above
Other than these roads, it could be that you get the points for the city 4 times. Btw, I count the city as 26 points (12 tiles + 1 shield). Or are your lines covering a second shield?

I might have a spare of the Dutch monestaries, but not sure. I'll have a look when I'm back home. No idea when that will be currently, but when I'm back I'll let you know

Meepledrone, you beat me to it! I think the Plague in C2 now would be a great stunt from HiG All jokes aside, it would be nice is HiG could refer to such a global event with a commemorative tile, maybe not even the Spiel 20 tile but stand alone?

I hadn't realised that having the meeples in 11 different colours was required.
Unfortunately, for the worst amongst us (including myself), yes... I'll probably be ordering them in separate orders, maybe wait until something else comes out and add the big meeple sets to that

The description of the bundle states it includes all 6 coaster sets, and 3 colour sets of the Big Meeples (6 Big Meeples per set) The Big Meeples are available in 11 colours, and you can pick 3 of them in the bundle..

I like it! It's interesting to see what others might have in place to balance things out in a way!
I've got a house rule on Abbots. I usually use the C2 Abbot meeples for the Monestaries expansions. This way I limit these to 1 monestary per player. You can only use your abbot in a monestary once (unless it's removed by a different element in the game), and if you draw other monestaries later, you can only use them as cloisters. In the beginning we've had 1 player get 4 monestaries in a game, making it feel unbalanced, so I put that in place (especially as I didn't have C2 Cor a while, but did have the abbot meeples)
