Yeah, I know about the Watchtowers, but don't think it is for Amazones. I'm guessing it's for New Art Base Game, but who knows... :blue-meeple:

I see a tile with "4/5" on it, which probably means there are tile(s) that will only be used with certain number of players. Interesting.

Also, wondering if there will be a mini expansion/promo, like with South Seas and Gold Rush.

Istanbul is a great game. Thinky but still very much fun. I would definately recommend the expansion though as that really made the game for me.

Yep, that's my thread on BGG about the calendar.  :) I'm also disappointed by this year's offering in the calendar. Only really interested in 2 of the promos, maybe 3 compared to last year's 8 to 9.

Where can I see the Watchtower Carcassonne promo? If it's old art, I might get it.

Will take a look tonight - I think I did see something, but there was also a ninja-cat from Ninja-camp in there.

Thanks for looking. Just PM me if you've no use for it (Market Owner).  :)

A good dice rolls Mr Numbers!

Just wanted to say I visited one of my FLGS ahead of my birthday and picked up:

Kodama (which I've written a mini-review for) - This is a fantastically simple tree building game.

and

Cthulhu Realms, which I've been playing the android app for the last week and thought my wife would prefer over Star Realms.

Oh, did the Cthulhu Realms came with a promo for the game Harbour? (Market Owner)
If so, and you don't have that game or no interest in the promo, any chance I'd be able to buy it from you? :blue-meeple:

General / Question about different colored meeples
« on: June 30, 2016, 07:28:39 AM »
So, about two years ago, maybe three already, I bought 6 new sets of meeples from Cundco, I believe.

These were new colored sets with all the extra meeples, including robber and messenger and such.
The colors were Brown, Orange, Pink, Purple, Unpainted, White.

About a year ago, I suddenly noticed there were again 6 new colored meeples, but didn't purchase them and forgot about them.
The colors were Lavender, Lime Green, Salmon, Sky Blue, Tan, Turqoise.

Were these ever released through Cundco and also as a complete set with ALL meeples? Or did that never happen?
I seem to remember there were complete sets, but know I think I might be wrongly remembering things.
I found these colors on Meeplesource but just the regular meeples, no special figures.

I am in for a pledge for SANTORINI, but would like to get 25 copies. So...I need another 24 people to make this doable.

Anybody else interested?

I live in Netherlands, so that would be easiest, but I can also ship to Belgium and Luxembourg for 7,50 euro. Franca is 10 euro and SPain is 14 euro.

In The Netherlands we could arrange a pick-up or also shipping with Kiala, which would be 4 euro.

Every copy will be around 32 euro, which is a lot cheaper than pledging by yourself.

Any help would be appreciated... :)

I also made a topic on BGG

I also have 2 copies of Fog Of Love left, which would be 28 euros.

I bought the 4 Different bags at Essen 2011 and Made sure each bag had the Same colored teacher as its bag.

the other bags and teachers were unofficial (i believe), so no interest in that.

General / Re: Hans im Glück - Favourite Expansion Poll

You could pick three.

My 1st choice was Traders & Builders.
2nd choice Sheep & Hills

3rd choice was either gonna be Mayor/Abbey or Count/King, but ultimately went with Count/King, since it offers more tiles and I like the idea of combining several mini-expansion in one box.

Sadly not all "echt" tiles - but a very well-made Porxada. Since it's for use "in game" and not completionism that's fine by me.

Those look really nice...

What kind of paper/sticker did you use? And where did you find the full-tile image for these or did you make them yourself?

I played this game for the first time about a year ago and really liked it.

Got a copy for myself and purchased some upgrade promos, like translucent gem tiles that were only given out during tournaments and a very nice playmat. And ofcourse the 5 extra nobles (4 tournament nobles and 1 from the advent calendar).

However, think we haven't played this in 4 months or so. If you play it often in a short while, it gets a little samey and boring imo.

General / Re: Completionism Poll #8: The Wind Roses
« on: February 29, 2016, 10:33:08 AM »
Ha...great story. I own both.

I bought the Spielbox version at Spiel, with 2 other Spielbox magazine's/promos, so it was only 10 euro for 3 magazines or some offer like that.

When I got to the Cunco/HiG booth, there was this crazy woman running a contest of meeple stacking. She was desperately trying to get people to do the contest, so we thought...why not. She said she had a copy of the windrose if one of us would win.

First, I went against my boyfriend and won. She didn't give me the promo and said I should play again.
So I went against my best friend (there was no one else willing to play). I won again and she still wouldn't give me the promo.
She now said I had to win 3 times in a row. I was starting to get irritated with her and the way she was doing this.

I don't know how, but suddenly she managed to find a Japanese guy to play against me. It was an older man and he had very shaky hands, so within 30 seconds his meeples fell over. The woman thanked the man for playing and started asking other bypassers to play against me. I kindly asked her for the promo and she told me she could only give it if I won 5 times because she was running out of promos fast. I got a bit angry with her, asking her why she was doing this and breaking her promise for the THIRD time! I think I scared her, because she hastily gave me a copy...  ;D

No shame for getting angry...it was my third day or something at spiel and was exhausted. Plus, she should just have given me the promo. I guess she didn't think I would win 3 times in a row.
