News and Events / Re: Brettspiel Advent Calendar 2018
« on: August 06, 2018, 07:36:52 AM »
Unfortunately i won't be visiting spiel this year to pick up a calendar, but if anyone's getting one and willing to split/sell the promos they're not interested in....

I'm interested in
- castles of burgundy
- Outlive
- elfenland
- rajas of the ganges
and maybe wildlands

Although I have not bought any of the New Edition base or expansions, I'm really interested in seeing what they'll do with the 7th Expansion spot.

The German and Dutch editions (and perhaps the English as well) of the new expansions all say the number they are ("Expansion 1" or "2nd Expansion", etc). If you would buy all expansions, you would have 1 to 6 and 8 to 10. I'm curious if they will release a new expansion and give it the 7th spot or release something we already know and give it the 7th spot (Maybe Wheel Of Fortune, or a collection of promos and mini expansions, much like the 6th Expansion), or if they'll never release an expansion with the number 7 and everyone will have a gap in their numbering....

I really like MP. I am interested in the expansion, but I think it's too expensive for what it offers.

Question about your "setup" photo. How come there are already meeples and trading posts in some cities?

Plus , with two players, you use 3 black dice.

I'm from NL and will be there on Thursday only this year and probably just for a few hours.  :blue-meeple:

They gave away those jelly meeples at Essen in 2011 and 2012 as well. I just assumed they have those every year. I opened one bag but they were pretty stale. Kept the rest closed. :)

If you're selling via CarcC then hopefully a "friendly" price that's suitably representative of our friendly community will be offered?

obviously! but if something is worth 100 I'm not going to sell it for 10 naturally. I'm friendly, but not stupid  ;)

Coul'd you please PM price, shipping included?

My thread was more about what these games would be worth and for people who are interested to make me an offer. I'll take a look at BGG and eBay to see what prices they're being sold for....

So it looks like we're getting (assuming this is also the German and US components) Inns & Cathedrals, Traders & Builders, and the 7 Carcassonne minis + The River and The Abbot = 11 expansions, as advertised. Meh. I do like the new art for the mini boxes, though. Those look kind of interesting.

What is the 7th mini (with a feather watermark on it)?

I've received many PM's with offers, but was also hoping people could advise me on what to sell these for.

Die Belagerer is sold.

The Marketplace / Thinking about selling (unplayed) spin-offs
« on: May 30, 2017, 09:23:54 AM »
So, lately I've been contemplating selling off spin-offs I never play or have only played 5 times or less. And some expansions/promos I have double and are still sealed/unpunched. But I question if I should put them on BGG or ebay and what they'd be worth...

I'd like to list what I have here first, mainly for help as to what something might be worth or to give Carc-fans first dibs, as I'd rather not deal with Ebay/Paypal.

If this is not the correct sub-forum for this, I apologize and would like to request to have it moved to its proper forum.

So, here's what I have that I might sell (from the top of my head):

- The Discovery (999 Games, Dutch version, played once)
- Mayflower (999 Games, Dutch version, played 5 times or less)
- The Ark of The Covenant (Scandinavion version, bought directly from publisher - Ludinaute? - played twice - included cardboard ark and a non-official wooden ark)
- The City: 2010 Edition (Rio Grande English version, played once)
- Carcassonne: Dice Game (999 Games, Dutch version, played once)
- Cardcassonne (999 Games, Dutch version, played 5 times or less)
- Gold Rush + Sheriff promo (Z-Man Games, English version, played once)
- Amazonas (999 Games, Dutch version, played once)
- Wheel of Fortune (HiG, German version, opened but unpunched/unplayed)

- Die Belager (unpunched/unplayed)
- Corn Cirles for Winter Edition (unpunched/unplayed)

- lots of meeples (red/blue/yellow/black/grey/green/pink/purple)

Any help would be appreciated, or feel free to make one or multiple offers...  :blue-meeple:

If needed, games can be picked up in Rotterdam/Dordrecht in The Netherlands.
I will be in Florida for a month later this year.
I will be attending Spiel 2017 on Thursday.

I'm keeping South Seas, The Castle, Winter Edition and Hunters & Gatherers as those get occiasionally played or are still somewhat fun when played.
