So, as Decar and Paul have established (thanks guys!), games at the group stage will include River 1, Inns & Cathedrals and King & Robber Baron. These have been chosen as they’re all nice, simple expansions that most people will be familiar with, but the combination means there’s plenty of interesting tiles, lots to think about and huge potential for some exciting games!

Do check the CAR if you’re not 100% sure about the rules to any of these though, and I recommend playing a few practice games in JCloisterZone with this combination of expansions against an AI opponent too.

Just beat the AI with these "group stage" expansions 200-86. I'm sure this result will be typical of my tourney results... ;-)

Thanks very much but I'm afraid my knowledge of extensions is pretty poor. Given the constraints, you can leave me off the starting list. I'll set my sights on the 2016 World Cup!

Just played a couple of games on JCZ against AI using these expansions and enjoyed it. I'm really looking forward to this tournament starting even though I don't think I'll progress past the first round!!
