Did I see a token - same idea as Castles, but might be a Village - on one of the images on the HiG Facebook page? Or did I miss any discussions about it?
Is it possible that it's a C3 version of Little Buildings or something?

Congratulations @Paloi Sciurala ! What an awesome score! Thanks @Meepledrone, for organising this quiz again! I unfortunately ran out of time to complete all the questions. Life got in the way. (Silly life, doesn't it know the importance of Carcassonne?? ) Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun and am quite happy with my score considering I only managed 14 questions. And great job @Matisek, creating that trophy! +1 merit to all of you!

Noticed this post on FB: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BZew3yNAU/?mibextid=WC7FNeIt looks like a different starting tile in the left upper corner. Maybe a C3 version of the Count of Carcassonne? There seem to be some yellow-and-white patches on the edge. Not sure what those would be. Any idea? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

- Snowman: Fear not! Your wish is my command! - Snowman: Stopping by in a jiffy! - Snowman: I will bring a truck loaded with Winter Edition copies just in case... - Snowman: Woohoo, thanks! Must be helping: fever is definitely down today! Thanks, Snowman! Can I offer you an iced coffee or something? Never heard of a Murdle puzzle so that one will require a bit of research. Well, you know, after I finish the other questions.

¡Muchas gracias, Chanchito! - Santa Claus: Does the quiz alleviate the symptoms? Really?
) Well, I wouldn't say alleviate the symptoms... but it is certainly an entertaining distraction. Although, you know, I wouldn't mind if the Snowman came over to lower the temperature here. Then again, I'd quite like the Snowman to survive, so probably better if he didn't come over... Stay safe, Snowman!

Yes, brains are melting. Not sure if it's the questions or the fever though. Hmm... Is the Grinch capable of causing the flu? (Despite the flu, still enjoying this quiz/the discussions. )

Just had a look: on the home page it now has instructions on how to receive the Spiel'24 tile + the message: "It will start soon. Please be patient." Guess we'll just have to be patient.

Thanks, wolnic! Yeah, I checked the English rules when I got home but wanted to make sure I understood it correctly. So, thanks for your take on this rule as well. It's an interesting rule though that could easily be used for different variants as well. And I'm with you: no clue how the blue hiker managed to get onto that road. Looks like that hiker got lost.

So, last night I played a game of Over Hill and Dale for the first time. The rules were in German (not our first language) but I think we muddled through pretty well. Just to confirm though: when you extend your road and you choose to have your wanderer take a hike, you can choose which way you let your wanderer hike; it doesn't have to be a hike to the newly-placed tile.
So, if you take the example given in the rules in 3b, if red were to extend the road again in a subsequent turn, it can choose to hike to the newly placed tile, scoring just 1 point, or it can choose to hike to the starting point of the road, scoring 3 points. So, if you're lucky enough to be able to make a long road, you could potentially score this road a bunch of times by choosing to hike this road whenever you extend it.
Is this correct?

Ah, there's the list! Thanks. Hmm, I wonder why I thought the Besiegers was one of them... Ah, here it is. It's because on this list, CarcII Artwork Expansions, there's a C2 adaptation of the various Besiegers/Siege/Cathar tiles only it's called the Attackers/Assailants.

Maybe HiG plans to convert to C3 some of them, The Besiegers at least? The rules for some of them are even featured with the C3 logo! Like Matisek, I highly doubt they'll convert these to C3. Especially given that I read somewhere on this forum that permission was given to update certain expansions from C1 to C2 because it was highly unlikely that HiG would be updating them (I'm pretty sure the Besiegers was one of them). Also, it looks like they're planning to put all the rules online, also from the base game, major expansions, spin-offs, etc. Will be interesting to see if there will be more references to WICA or if they'll just post the original documents as they were.

I see the image! Update: I checked it on both the app on my phone and on my laptop. I see the image in both! Woohoo! Glad you found a way around the new security 'feature' .

Not sure if this has happened before but I just noticed that for the English version of some rules, Cundco refers to the WICA pages! Apparently they've been adding the Rules online for some of the older (C1) mini-expansions. The German versions of the rules are there, but for the English rules of Windroses, Besiegers, and (Little) Houses, you end up on the relevant WICA page. So, to everyone who has worked and is still working on WICA: your work is definitely appreciated! Rules old mini expansions on Cundco
