Still nothing. I'm getting a little worried about Santa. :(

Is it there yet Leven?

The poor organisers thought they were going to get 40 lovely and gentle German people to this thing. Little did they know it's going to be all British hooligans!!  >:D

OI! I resemble that remark.

Other Games / Re: Are you an opener?
« on: December 31, 2017, 05:06:25 AM »
I'm with the majority, they have to be opened. The new smell, the seeing what's in the box, the re-reading of the rules (I will have already read them online and watched video run throughs to see if I will like the game and that they will be enjoyed by the family).

Most of my games are then left until we have a games night, sometimes for weeks or months. The more serious games are reserved for the games club but there are many to try out there.

Hi Decar may I take the flower cards for lotus from the Santas renegades box please? I don't have the other games so would leave the rest for anyone else that wants them.

Also interested in kingdom builder if it doesn't go.

I got the Seasons expansion. A lovely well made expansion with fantastic colour on the tiles and boards all boxed in super quality. Thank you Santa.

WHAT?!!

OI! Stop twisting my words, I can see what you're doing, I will not wait, That pesky pressie will be open, I will be hiding in a Wile E Coyote type way with some ACME dynamite set up to blow the wrapping paper off at 12.01 am on Christmas Morning.

Rules are rules, set in stone in post number 1 or at least very near the beginning of this thread. You may not move the goal posts, you may not change the timetables, Some are not more equal than others.

I will be that Rebel without Claus (see what I did there :) ) I am going to open that pressie, I will survive! (oops sorry about that I nearly went into full on Donna Summer mode then)

I would just like to point out to everyone, and this is totally not in the spirit of the season nor does it offer goodwill to all men (and ladies), but I do not want to hear any silly, half baked, ideas about holding off the pressie opening until everybody has received theirs.......

It's driving me scatty already, seeing it there under the tree, taunting me, every morning noon and night.

I couldn't wait any longer than Christmas day.

;)  :)
