In this case, you have the same freedom to place the meeple in the city, no matter if you used a drawbridge or the city of Carcassonne. You may place it on a watchtower tile to get its bonus.

Hi. I have a basic question concerning drawdridges: does a drawbridge split the fields or not?

Drawbridges separate fields, but moats and ditches don't. The field touches a city wall even if there is a moat or ditch before it.

Yes, this tile has 3 fields, and the small field to the left of the road fork touches both coity segments.

so I can put a shepherd on a small meadow and the meadow is immediately finished  ;)

Correct! Inner fields can be a source of quick points for shepherds if no other action is more pressing.
