Acrobat spaces should be considered as a special feature with 3 slots for meeples. It is not completed until the 3 slots are occupied. So a magic portal is allowed to deploy meeples to an acrobat pyramid until the three slots are occupied, that is when it is actually completed.
But the rule says "a meeple using the magic portal can only be placed on an unoccupied incomplete feature".
A pyramid with acrobats is not completed, yes, but it's occupied.
Hence magic portals should not be allowed to bring meeples there, no?

Like I said, acrobat pyramids are a special feature. The same rules tell you that you can use a magic portal to place a meeple on an acrobat pyramid. So it is not considered as completed and occupied until you place the third acrobat.

That's not very logical. When I get a rule wrong because I missed a footnote or because I misread it, I'm the first to admit my error but this one... is just a bad rule. Exceptions should have a specific reason to exist, not "just because the creator said so"  :)

That's why acrobat spaces and pyramids are an odd feature in Carcassonne. Even the interactions in the printed rules are full or several these edge cases when dealing with acrobats.

This is a out point of view. Imagine a tovar spaces as three different features. So by magi. Portal you can place meeple to any of this three spaces if they are unoccupied and unfinished. So you are able to occupy then every empty space in pyramid by magic portal or by other game mechanics.

Still wondering flying machine to acrobats space. If there is unoccupied place it is possible to place it. But if it's full then not, because acrobat is completed and you can not place meeple to completed feature by flying machine. Ok. That make sense.

I understand the point of view but this is really a stretch "to make it work"  :) The feature is the whole pyramid, not the single acrobat space... the original rule itself really doesn't make sense to me and I think I'll add a house rule in my book, to prevent magic portals to be able to add meeples on a pyramid.
