I can confirm the problems with mails in CarcF ... and it looks like a bigger problem. :-\

What irritates me is that two people managed to register in CarcF on 5.11. and 29.10. (matches the period in which Meles and alienated182 tried to register - based on the corresponding information here in the thread).
My tests to register today were unsuccessful as the activation mail did not arrive.  And Meepledrone: no mails in my spam folder ;)

I informed the admins a few minutes ago and hope that the problems will be solved quickly.
Sorry for the problems!

@Benny @Ratz65 @KlausiMausi @kettlefish @LaPorxada (aka BigBoss)  Will you be around?
Yes  ;)  on Thursday

What about a meetup on Thursday or Sunday at 14:00?

Last year we met at the mezzanine by the entrance in Hall 1. Anyone up to it?
Good meeting point and time :(y)
Looking forward to meet you again :D

Ahhhh.... What a relief to my eyes!!!  ;)

@Benny Are you getting a copy?
No ... not yet ;-)
I have the first version (with the mistakes) and have to think about buying this corrected version.
I have meanwhile the problem that I have hardly any space in my apartment because of the many games and books. And these BigBox versions are not exactly small.

Special item for collectors   ;D

Seen at the small games fair SpielDoch! in Dortmund/Germany on Friday.

Spoiler: new box "design" ... maybe without rule errors (wrongly placed meeples) - I didn't check it.

WHEN AND WHERE
We're meeting upstairs in the front foyer of the Messe at 2pm on Thursday and at 2pm on Saturday.
We'll likely be watching potions of the tournament held on Sunday.
Hi Decar,
to be a bit more precise, because there are more than one entrance with a foyer (hope we thougt of the same area ;-) ):
It's an area upstairs in the foyer of Hall 1

:-BD Looking forward to meet you all tomorrow!

Nice event and nice pictures, oldbonz  :(y)
Wish I have had the chance to travel to Carcassonne.

Seems to me, that it is this "Giant Carcassonne" version:
https://www.hans-im-glueck.de/news/event-carcassonne-grossspiel.html  (I think text is only available in german)
So, the size ist 40x40 cm

That bus reminds me of a smaller version ...
It was used by Udo for his Carcassonne-on-tour tours.
These photos were taken at the 1st int. Fan Meeting 2018 in the monastery St. Marienthal.

In the end of the meeting I had the privilege to drive the car back to Dresden. If I remember correctly because Udo had to go back a little earlier and then a driver was missing. Since I used to drive buses, the choice fell on me.

No, none at all. And I’d love to still get them.
Hi Whaleyland,
I will write you a PM later the day - it's not yet weekend in europe as it is in NZ, so I still have to work a few hours  :-\

No, none at all. And I’d love to still get them.
Hi Whaleyland,
according to DHL on their german website there are general problems for deliveries to NZ:

"New Zealand:
•   Because transport capacity to New Zealand is very limited at this time, special measures are required to maintain letter and parcel service. For some products, we have developed a solution that combines air transport to the Middle East or South Asia with subsequent ocean transport, which allows us to avoid re-routing service suspensions. Please note that this combined air/ocean rerouting will result in very lengthy transit times. At present, timeframes of 50 days or more can be expected for service to New Zealand, where transit times are also being impacted by import customs clearance processes at the ports. Should shipment volumes exceed capacity on the direct flights that are available, we reserve the right to transport additional products to the destination country via this combined solution
•   As a result of the airspace bans currently in place over Russia, Ukraine, and other countries, various flight connections have been interrupted, and a number of other connections are being forced to fly a longer route than previously. This increases the amount of fuel required and reduces available transport capacity on these flights. In light of this, longer transit times should currently be expected for shipments to New Zealand. Please understand that we are not in a position to reliably predict the effects that the rapidly changing situation may have at this time

Documents:
•   Service for letter mail items weighing up to 500 g and with a maximum thickness of 2 cm is generally by air freight.
•   Letter mail service for items weighing over 500 g or with a maximum thickness of over 2 cm is generally via the air/ocean rerouting described above
•   These terms also apply for Dialogpost International and Presse International items

Merchandise shipments for private customers:
•   Until further notice, small packages (Päckchen) and parcels (Paket) without Premium service will be sent via combined air/ocean rerouting. Franking is only possible online
•   For faster delivery of merchandise, we recommend sending it as a parcel (Paket) with Premium service. With this product, transport to Australia is via air freight. It can be ordered online and in retail outlets

Merchandise shipments for business/contract customers:
•   Warenpost items can be sent to Australia. Please note that until further notice, these items will also be shipped via combined air/ocean rerouting as described above
•   The DHL Paket International service is available. Please note that a weight-based international crisis surcharge will be applied to each parcel
o   DHL Paket International Economy parcels will also be transported via this combined air/ocean rerouting
o   DHL Paket International Premium will continue to be transported via air freight
The restrictions also apply to New Zealand’s outlying islands."

Then choose "Australia & Oceania" and then of course "New Zealand"

News and Events / Re: Castles in Germany and The Festival in C3
« on: April 27, 2022, 07:52:29 AM »
Today I received an answer from CundCo. With his agreement here the infos:

"Yes there is a C3 version of the castles.
Currently I have in the store again the C2 version of the castle for sale until it is sold out. After that (I guess in the next week) I will rebrand the item to C3 and then you will be able to order it normally.
Then you can be sure to get the right item, because there will be no C2 castles anymore. ... "

Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

But: if no one orders the old version of the expansion it will last a bit longer until the new one will be available.  ;)

CundCo told me in a short phone call that the c3 version will be identifiable in the item description and they will change the item image.
At the moment it is not clear if the Carcassonne logo will also be changed in the rules ???. But the copyright date is set to the current year.
