What about 3D Printed meeples?

An accurate model could be scaled to the proper size and printed in any variety of colors. Not the most cost-effective approach, but certainly easier than contending with poor woodworking skills. :)

Also, I'm a bit late to the offer - are giant sets sill available? I'd be all for getting one. And I've got the 3D Printer to make the meeples.

I was curious about this.

While I agree The Cathars was likely the best option, I do have a question. You listed the items you were looking for in order of your preference for them, not the order of value or rarity. If The Cathars was a more appealing offer than something higher on the list, why wasn't the list re-ordered to reflect this? Personally I may have made a different offer if that were the case.

And don't think I am bitter that I didn't get picked for the trade. I'm not and am intending no ill will, I am just genuinely curious on the selection process since it didn't follow the stated order of preference.

That is cool!
Where did you find that? That must have been a tough find :)

It was actually a lucky eBay find - in the end I fought for it, but I think it was worth it. Same with the Spiel '16 tile.

There is no scoreboard included unfortunatly  :(
I havent read the rules through yet, but i believe it suggests using pen and paper for scoring

There is plenty of space inside the cover. So somebody could design a print out scoreboard for the cover?  :)

I like that idea - I'll look at putting one together this weekend. I'll need to find a decent card stock and measure out the cover.

Arrived today.

Tile size compare - Labyrinth tile for reference.

I probably should have also included a Travel Carcassonne tile for comparison.

I just ordered this off Amazon.de today for shipment to the US. Game + Shipping came out at just under $12. I was able to use my existing US Amazon account and payment / shipping information. Shipping is estimated at 2 weeks - I don't know if it factors in at all but I am an Amazon Prime subscriber. I thought this was a good alternative for some to get this.

Someone at BGG has one to trade off, "still in shrink wrap". He has 365 positive feedback so seems legit enough. German First Edition.

I spoke with this guy (enoon) - while he has it for trade, he doesn't have the game in hand yet. His friend in Germany is sending him 2 copies, one for his collection and one to trade. He is reluctant to ship to the US due to cost and his experience with USPS handling packages.
