2025: What should we expect from HiG

I think there's some things we expect, and some that are actually confirmed.
We expect the other 2 seasons to come out; Winter and Summer.
Perhaps a third Wonders of Humanity.

But over the last month's, there's been more and more about major expansions in C3, to the point that Mindok have said it's coming in 2025, and Moritz was at a Devir announcement where he said they're coming out in 2025.

That is the main expectation

New expansion to replace the catapult. That will be something new in itself. And the C3 set. Maybe they'll keep something for the next few years. And they'll only introduce the C3

Well, in Netherlands are selling now Exp 2 in C2 boxes but with C3 tiles. So C3 will come very soon.

The 25th anniversary edition should come out next year sometime.   I know you are talking about 2025, but its still something people should keep in mind before going overboard this year.

They reprinted Hunters and Gatherers.  Any chance that the Scout expansion gets a reprint?

I th8nk 25th Anniversary will be in 2026 (20th was in 2021 they are celebrating GAME OF THE YEAR award)

Yes, HiG are using the SdJ year (2001) for their counting.
Moritz told me this mainly started in 2010/2011, when they missed the 10th anniversary of the release of the game, and this was celebrated in 2011, so they stuck with it.

25th anniversary will be celebrated in 2026 from what he said

I think they are keeping some "old" rules on Cundco because they will convert all of them eventually to C3...

This is maybe their roadmap hidden in plain site:
* The School C3
* Windroses C3
* The Labyrinth C3
* The Besiegers C3
* Little Buildings C3 (are those tokens in the image postd by HiG a prototype?)

* The Barber-surgeons C3

For example, look at the case of Halflings... Ron told me he didn't have time to remove the old rules but the C3 hav ben online for a while.
