The forum does support locked topics so the easiest thing might be to post the puzzle then immediately lock it and have a separate thread for answers. 

Would be nice if it was possible to allow people to post the answers but not let anyone read them. 
Does the forum support hidden topics ? Where you can post without seeing what others are saying?
