Doubt about the barn:
when placing the barn, are the farmers present to be retired:
- before the dragon moves (then in phase 4)
- or after the dragon moves (phase 6)?
When joining an area with farm and barn to another without a barn, do the farmers return to the reserve:
- at that moment (in phase 4) when placing the barn?
- or do they go back to the reserve in phase 7, after scoring?
Being the dragon's move in stage 5, the answer to the question impacts widely on the scoring.

The dragon moves in step 2b
The farmers are removed during the scoring phase, at the end of step 3b. So the dragon may eat them before the scoring of the field.

Hi DanieleManetto,
You are naming the phases/steps according to the Order of Play in the CAR v7.4. Corinthiens13 is referring to the convention used in WICA to match the numbering used by HiG in new edition (C2).
So translating the response to the CAR, the farmers would return to their owner supply in step 7.m) along with all other meeples on completed features just scored.
Check these clarification in WICA, equivalent to footnote #184 in the CAR on page 65.

The word "immediately" here means that farmers are scored then removed during the normal scoring phase of this turn (as opposed to staying on the field until the end of the game). The placement of a barn does not stop play for a separate scoring phase for the farmers. Thus, the normal “move wood” portion of the turn occurs before the farmers are scored. (10/2012)
So the farmers are removed along all other meeples on scored features, after moving the dragon, as Corinthiens13 mentioned already.

Correct.
This reminds me of the issues watchtowers scoring per neighboring meeples pose when they overlap. >:D
