Perfect morris. I don't know how you knew that but it's exactly what I was looking for. Merit for you!

Now I can pull document files and image files from one source. I'm a happy meeple!  :red-meeple:

anyone that has a google account, I'd suggest using google drive for uploading and sharing documents. Just make sure you uncheck the option to covert files unless you want it to be in a native google format.

Here I also cannot figure out how to find the "direct" link to be able to insert an image into this dialog.  :(

When you click "Share link" you are presented with a dialog box with two buttons at the bottom: "Send" and "Get link". Use "Get link" to copy the link to your Clipboard.

Thanks Morris. I have got this to work for document files (PDF, DOC), but I can't figure out how to get an image to load directly into this dialog. I can do it from Mediafire and ImageShack by copying the "direct" link. In Dropbox I don't get that option. The link pasted to the clipboard is apparently not a "direct" link.

Used that one for my last post with pictures and it worked well: http://tinypic.com/

Thanks, it appears that this site only takes images. Not documents. Unless I am not reading it correctly.  :-\

Dropbox maybe?

Thanks, I have DropBox but I cannot figure out how to copy a link out of there that I can paste into another site.   >:(
It will only give me an option to send a link somewhere, but doesn't show me the link.

I just got a reply from Moritz stating his apologies - they have had a sickness and he has been travelling so they got a bit behind. He says he had been receiving your emails and that your order is on track - it has already been shipped. He thanked me for the communication.  :)

Each feature scores separated. The robber gets the half of the points for one of the features for scoring.

IMO - Logic would dictate that the Robber can choose which feature to rob - just as he would if there were two players scoring from the same space. One may score a city and one may score a road as a result of the same tile being placed that completes two features at once - the Robber can choose which to rob - he is not only chosing a player to rob but technically, which feature score to rob.

Does anyone know of other free file storage sites?

I know of ImageShack. But it appears you can only host images and not PDF files there.

If someone who has had success emailing them, is able to email them on my behalf it would be greatly appreciated

I recently purchased from them in January. I will send an email to Moritz on your behalf and we'll see if he can respond.

Official Rules / Re: Drawing your next card out of order
« on: February 25, 2013, 11:48:35 AM »
insists on drawing his next card from the pile immediately after he has completed his previous move rather than waiting until the start of his next turn.

Welcome to the CC forum chrisp2013! Good question here.

I presume he is not looking at the tile he is selecting until it is his turn correct? If he is looking at the tile after drawing it then he clearly has an advantage. Do you use a draw bag? Or place the tiles face down on the table?

If you are placing the draw piles on the table and he is not looking at his chosen tile (and you wanted to hand his own childish play back to him) then I would say technically his chosen tile is available to be chosen by any other player. Proximity on the board of the draw pile(s) does not indicate ownership.

In actuallity he is not playing the game by the rules. The first step in a player's turn is to draw and place a tile. The rules state "First a player must draw a land tile from one of the face-down stacks..."

I wonder what he does when the game is winding down? With the Builder in play, for example, the remaining tiles could get drawn at a rate of one or two tiles per player. Does he count the remaining tiles and make a calculated guess as to whether he thinks he is entitled to one of the remaining tiles?

Hans im Glück,

I'm very appreciative for your reply
I have been following steps 1-4. So I guess I will just wait some more.

It seems that a good possibility, given all you have explained, is that they are not receiving your emails. Perhaps they are going to Junk or Spam and so they are unaware that you responded to them or that you are trying to contact them. They may be still waiting honestly for your phone number. I would think a phone call from you would be in order at this point.
